i’ve been playing lost ark since release but stopped playing for about a month then i came back to login to find out that all my characters were deleted. is there anything happend related to this? i tried to contact them but no reply
Check another regions
At the moment I have not heard of a bug that has deleted characters, only 3 things can cause this, one is you accidentally chose wrong region, Second is you accidentally or purposely deleted characters (not likely since you are posting here) and finally is that your steam account/ lost ark account has been compromised which has been happening to other people.
How to fix: first check all regions to make sure you are on right one.
Second after confirming: first I would change steam password to be safe. And then in forums here there is a ticket for restoring deleted characters and responses from admin are usually fairly fast. A friend of mine deleted 4 characters and then later bought character slots and the staff on the forums was able to help him restore all deleted characters.
After characters have been restored, it is suggested to run integrity check on the game through steam
Also if it is a compermised issue when characters are restored it’s from last save data so characters gears and items will be missing and so far of what I have read and heard Amazon does not replace or restore character from before the hack. This might not be case for ever but is what I have read and heard from friends who have been compermised.
