Several people are getting a week locked from progressing on their legions raids.
I’m one of them.
My game crashed out of nowhere during gate 1 of Valtan. I can’t get the rewards of Valtan gate 1 and I can’t progress to gate 2.
If this is a system to prevent bussing / boosting the system itself doesn’t make any sense.
If the raid group of the disconnected player completes the raid successfully you should give the rewards to the disconnected player and mark the gate as completed.
How the system is this way just punishes the players, and in my case I’m getting double punished since I’m locked out of progression in BOTH gates of Valtan.
Also if you don’t have a system to restore items to the players, you really should review your capability to publish a MMORPG.
I don’t think that AGS has nearly as much sway over SGR as people think. They can make suggestions as to what they feel would be successful in our region but at the end of the day the final decision as to what is actually implemented is 100% up to SGR.
But yes I agree with you OP it is a terrible system that they have in place. Lockouts should not be put on a character until you have collected loot.
A restore item system already exist in KR (for obvious reasons, that is a system that should come with any MMORPG).
Either way is bad management by both teams.
SG for having such a bad system that I would even count as a critical bug.
Amazon for not making sure they have the right tools to operate the game they are selling.
My game simply crashed, I joined back the party after they completed it, I didn’t get any rewards, I didn’t get my ticket back, and I can’t progress to gate 2.
based on my knowledge apparently if you crash and the team claims rewards and a party member leaves and don’t wait for you to come back first then you get cucked out of rewards.
i agree its horrific system which should be reworked, the fact the it takes like 5 minutes for game to load doesnt help either. Whenever Im on laptop with not the best connection, I dont even bother raiding anymore. Only when Im PC with ethernet
I don’t believe this is the only case, there are several people complaining even when people wait for them for the rewards and also when the group gets disbanded after the player got disconnected.
I can confirm this, we waited for disconnected people after g1 to continje gate 2 with them. They loaded back into the instance, got no loot and no completiin so they were unable to advance. Support told them to wait 48 hours in case the system automatically gives them the entry ticket. They did not get any.
Another time someone got disconnected with error message and was moved outside the instnace, but got mail with ticket immediately.
So even if you abort your boss try on disconnect, there is a chance that the affected player can’t load back in, get no ticket, no completion, and nothing at all from the weeks ID, and support can’t support you at all.
This is insane, the amount of times people that are complaining (over 370 posts) and still they find normal to continue like this.
In KR they can restore, in NA/EU they can’t.
Instead of thinking “maybe this should be changed” or “let’s ask the dev team to change this”, no, they rather have this system an continue to make players lose their progression.
Amazon Admins have very limited power in the game and they can only mainly move characters around if they are stuck. Restoring is a very long and unlikely situation to happen because they will simply say “your account is flagged and the devs will get to it”.
Amazon uses SG automatic system to compensate re-entry tickets for unjust removals such as server crash and maintenance, not if your computer crash (BTW this system has like a 90% miss rate or something). Addionally, you will only lose your ticket if your party completes/leaves the raid without you before you reconnect.
Nevertheless, send in a support ticket and test your luck
Also, bussing is intentional in some form or way for SG, although they try really hard in legions to make it impossible such as DPS checks or mechs with little lead ways without full parties.
Again this is SG system and not Amazon they have no power against it or a way to confront it other than flagging it.
Also, bussing is impossible to tackle other than DPS checks and Mechs such as Vykus raids Simon said or R&B orb or vykus typing. To prevent bussing is the same thing as saying don’t play with premade lobbies with friends and guildies and only matchmaking.
Amazon can ask them to change it. Like they did with the island event wait time.
This is a major issue. I don’t and I won’t accept that Amazon are simply weaklings on this game that can’t do anything.
They can ask, talk and/or complain to Smilegate for changes like they did in the past.
The fact that they didn’t even acknowledge that it is a problem or said that they would forward it to the dev team is a major red flag for me looking at the future of the game.
This is an insane issue that will be even worse in future content like Brelshaza.
