hes got multiple 1460 non gold alts, not one 1460 main. I got a 1430 main and 3alts, dont complain about f2p just the casual 1460alts full roster.

Definitely is f2p friendly. Stone complaints make 0 (zero) sense since a 6\5 stone is enough to make 5x3 with both legendary imprints. Don’t feel like gamba - spend on books. According to all of these stone complainers the amount of gold they spend on stones is more than the cost of an additional +12 imprint.
Lost Ark is f2p friendly but the requirment is losing a majority of your life. While a whale can live a full happy life and only play a few hours a week to raid with friends.
That’s like working 60 hours a week for 5 decades and then saying that your life was pretty casual, and you didn’t work a lot.
How many total hours do you have in the game?
It’s a per player experience. I’m free to play but i make easily 50k gold per week due to a fully fleshed out roster, properly geared and at least half of them are doing Valtan/Vykas. Even though i only do rested dailies it still takes 1-2h of playtime (excluding Argos/Legion). Technically pheons could cost double and i would still have no problem gearing alts.
So, it is f2p friendly if you are efficient and can commit some time for it. If you play very sporadically and haven’t invested in 1370+ alts then everything becomes very expensive. It’s time vs money.
Yes if you dont buy from auction if you do f2p gets wrecked. Unless you live inside game.
Peons, fees, beatriches blesings, auto loot pets, so on and so on.
But you can play without those things and newer reach end game just do story and some sprinkled easy content.
it is f2p friendly if you don’t value your time. in which case, you’ll probably have some fun 
however, if you value your time, you need to be patient. then you’ll also have some fun.
in the end, if you are of the impatient type AND value your time (often goes together), then no. you will not have fun and will either resort to spending money or quitting.
This game is P2W. It used to have potential to be a healthy game on both sides (F2P/P2W) but nah just nope. They literally baited people in on launch by adding Auras on blue gems and making pet skill changes free, then continued with nothing but greed. We used to shot people in streets who would dare to call LA P2W those days (first two months ~).
Now look at it, lol.
im 100% free to play havent spend a dime on materials pheons or anything else then again i do have over 1300 hours in the game and i play 5-6 chars if u dont have the time then no lost ark is not for u unless u dont mind going at your own pace and getting to stuff when u get there , LA is a Job sorta speak its an mmo most mmos are like that so if u can only play 2 hours a day or something like that i would try something more casual friendly such as WoW im not sayin u cannot try LA but your progression will ofc be slower then again i make more then enough gold to upkeep my aura every month buy pheons if i have to or buy costume on occasion so from someone with no life and way to much time on there hands yes its F2P friendly

Depends on what you’re looking for. There’s enough horizontal content to get enjoyment from it, and as long as a player is not pushing to be the best out there, a player can have more than enough fun.
While I agree that someone who plays maybe an hour a day can get to all the content eventually, I really do think it’s a subpar experience. This game just wants you to spend at least 2 hours a day to really get the most of the game imo.
Now what the definition of casual will change person to person. but 2 hours is alot of time to working folk and it’s not always what someone wants to be doing if they want to get the most experience for the smallest amount of time. Alot of lost ark is kinda busy work. I like it because I like the feeling of progression I get every day but this is not for the kinda gamer who wants a great experience for their 1 hour a day if you get what I mean.
I think… Yes, It is. Butt, you must understand that the advance time of an F2P is different from the advance time of a P2W, since for the P2W the limit is the credit card.
I bought character slot, 1 skin and the pass… None of that changed my progression. I strongly believe that P2W players are a minority in the game. I guess not even 10% spends enough money to achieve the progression needed for current content.
