True. But the difference is that other games, beside their “hamster wheels” the hey also give you plenty of “other wheels”, while Lost Ark is literally built on dailies.
Everything in LA is either daily (daily chaos, guardian, una’s, islands, rapport, etc) or weekly (abyss, Argos,etc).
Once you completed your Adventure Tome, there is literally nothing else to do except repeating same events every day.
Again you describe every MMO.
Name one MMO not like this?
The difference is that other mmo’s “Adventure Tome” take years to complete, while LA’s Adventure Tome takes 50h.

And we’re back to misses. Sorry but I’m not going to just forsake the genre that has so many positive core features just because it’s having a hard time shaking a couple toxic systems and philosophies.
No one told anyone to rush it, you can easily take your time and enjoy the game and run alts. This game has very high replay value, try alts they’re really fun! I have about 4 I maintain 
if you dont like lost ark dont play it, rng upgrading is nothing new
Lost Ark is great. The honing system is garbage.

the honing system is part of lost ark and you need to interact with it if you want to do end game raids, make up your mind
It’s part of the game currently, but it is not a core aspect of the game. You could remove it entirely for a different progression system and the actual game would remain unchanged. From what I’ve heard they changed it once to this toxic, predatory version of the honing system. They can change it again if they’re convinced it would be better for their bottom line to do so.

Game is great. Honing system is shit. Not sure how many times I have to repeat this. I’m not one to throw away an entire apple just because there’s a soft spot. Why would I quit a game that I enjoy nearly all the core gameplay of just because of one awful-but-easily-changeable system?
So you saw the bad spot of the apple and still bit into knowing you wouldn’t like it? sounds like the problem isnt with the game
No, I just remove that spot and enjoy the other 99% of the apple that’s still fantastic.

Sure you can. It’s one of the least consequential systems in the game to change. SG just needs to believe that making the western version friendly towards players, instead of toxic towards them, will improve their bottom line.
I almost feel sorry for people like you, you’ve completely convinced yourself that the upgrading system thats been in the game for a long time is gonna get changed over 2 months of people upset, when RNG upgrading systems are nothing new
