Make alts and level your stronghold. You don’t get to be the best in 1 day, it will take weeks. If you stop trying to be at the top immediately and realize that most of the game’s high end content is months and months away, you’ll have a lot more fun.

Still stands there are ways to play and progress without paying a dime, and I mentioned them. You just do not want to learn how to do them. I will gladly leave the topic since it seems you just want to complain about something you are causing.

Everything you mentioned I’m already doing, I’m working on alts and level my stronghold every day. It’s probably much more active in your server than it is in Europe West. There is barely any partys during the day, Matchmaking even takes time to get into a guardian raid. The main point here is doing t3 content in scuffed gear, It’s not possible to buy low end epic t3 items which suit your character without having to spend thousands of gold on crystals or real money. Bare in mind these items are just 50-150 gold each at max. It’s not much of a problem if the item is bis and costs 10k gold, Then 10 pheons is really nothing if you are at the stage. New players don’t receive all these free pheons which you got which is that part you missed out. You’ve been playing for several months and started with a lot more freebies than a player would get who started recently.
P2w if impatient. While alts do indeed help they’re also an INVESTMENT. So they can also be quite the gold sink and time sink that you could use with other activities to generate a bit of extra gold.
Wished ppl kept this in mind when making alts.

??? I havent bought any pheons since we were given them and havent had an issue. What did you spend all your pheons on? To add they cost in game gold, you turn your gold into blue crystals. If anything right now its tipped more in your favor, blue crystals cost like 300 gold for 90. Pheons arent even that expensive either. Also people dont want to waste their time. Its their group dont expect to be invited to THEIR group if you dont have what THEY want. Create your own group.
Ive had decent experiences with matchmaking. In oreha hard mode and in argos, but i wont deny there are some that end up ending quick or the group comp isnt really great. Its hit or miss and thats why its avoided to save time. But you could teach a matchmaking group easily. If the comps decent you can most time clear the content. Again if you dont want to adhear to other people make your own group there are people out there who feel just like you do. Chances are you wont invite them either and invite the person with the highest ilvl/engravings.
Gold was easier to get because the ah market was high. The “farm” isnt the same anymore the markets crashed gotta find other revenues. This is where alt play comes in doing all your abyss dungs on your alts to get gold. Its rough atm but itll get better as more content gets released more we wait more were poor tbh.

They cost gold, like its a dumb system but you can buy them with gold… right now blue crystals are super cheap too. Its so funny this game is the most f2p friendly atm in that regard and people ignore it entirely lmfao

I don’t know what you’re talking about, I have 100+ pheons left cause the game throws pheons at you and the only things I buy from shop with royal crystals are skins if I like them.
Also you don’t spend real money for pheons that’s stupid, you buy pheons with gold if you need extra.
Btw, I didnt get any free pheons. Only 10 per week from the exchange shop. I’ve only been playing for 3 weeks.
The items i want to buy are like 50 gold - 150 gold max, Why would i spend 400g on crystals to buy a 50-150 gold item that makes no sense.

Does your Grand Prix exchange vendor not have pheons? And they regularly give it in log in too, so it’s not a ‘back then’ thing. Also, I didn’t find any need to buy anything until 1370. At that point I have way too much pheons saved up that I don’t know what to do with them. Maybe when I start getting other alts to that point, and rich enough to gear them up. But if I was that rich, pheon probably isn’t an issue anyways.

We run it with guild mates; however, it can be run with crap gear.
Buy the pheons, theyre not going anywhere anytime soon. If your complaining abput the solution and dont do it then youre not only gonna be mad, you’re not gonna get into groups either. so any hinderence after this point is your own.
I think its a dumb system personally, and nobody absolutely loves the system but its not as pay to win as you think it is since you can buy them with in game currency. Also to point out i also had to do it before we were given pheons in the march update.

As a F2P player, I havent spent any of my pheons to upgrade my gear across my main or alts. Also this post are like multiple problems wrapped under one topic which is highly misleading.
It is a unfair statement to say that after T3, it is pure p2w territory. There are players who manage to get there with sufficient time, its of course harder for us F2Pers but it is doable. While the time spent in the deadzone is an issue it is by no means that you have to pay, its an option if you want to shorten the gap, however as I said its a choice.
I myself is currently sitting at 1362 on my main, this week after the event, I got 7 ilvls, thank god. And next week i should be 1370 or close to it, if RNGeesus permits me.
Pheons are not required to fix gear, you can find it in due time, at 1370 its the same thing. Its all about resource management until you get to 1370 for new gear and 1385 to get the next honing research upgrade. You shouldn’t be spending your gold on buying gear or fixing gear when its such a limited resource for F2Pers.
I don’t know what its like in EUW realm but on NAE where I’m at working with only 2x2 engravings at 1362, I have no trouble getting into groups with accessories that don’t even have class engravings on them.
My blade is 1376, 1 t3 alt at 1307 which really isnt helping at all besides silver somewhat. But im free to play, used matchmaking to get 4 hard mode oreha pieces. Barley spend money on anything. Only spent for some skins and the omen pack.

just because x item is 100g and the peon cost 500g doesn’t suddenly make it not available to F2p players that’s on you picking to buy trash accessories that be replaced within a week
Im sitting on multiple T3 Alts and i have yet once needed to buy accessories at that low of a ilvl
u only need to really start dealing with accessories and buying off AH when u start fixing your gear for 333/3331 with legendary
Look at it this way just add 500g to every item u see then that’s the real price
