nobody cares lower than 30 plebs who are all day chating spaming bulshit in area chats.all ppl are under 50 who realy using for game that chat not by troling or spaming.get to under 30 and trol arround.this is good idea to not allow area chat before 30.good agenst gold sellers and other bulshit spammers.if they selling gold they ez ban account and then gold selers need time to get 30 agen.
How is it a nice solution? Its a minor inconvenience for spammers and a bigger one for actual players. Sure people will not be under level 30 forever, but not everyone wants to rush up levels either. Its a crap solution because it does not actual solve any problem.
IK it sucks but do you prefer a 15$ subscription fee instead? Cause I think that’s the only other option to fix this HUGE bot problem. Don’t worry, you’ll get to 50 in two days or so anyway.
So no one under 30 should be able to find a party either?
The bots will get there too. Or do you think the bots and spammers are going to see this chat restriction and just give up? Not every player wants to rush to 50. Stop saying it takes 2 days for everyone when thats not true.
Tell me, how many times did you use the party finder under level 50? 
That’s the problem with free games tho, stupid people does annoying stuff without even having to pay for it. I really get your point but idk if there’s a real solution on a f2p game for that, really.
Edit: On a second thought moderators would be a solution, I think.
For dungeons? A couple of times when I wanted to try a new dungeon on hard for better rewards.
I have not reached level 50 and wont for a while because I play an hour or so a day.
So this is not a real solution. People are acting like this chat restriction solves it. We all know it wont. Its just an annoyance for players and a minor speed bump for the spammers.
You can easily solo the dungeons even on hard difficulty.
Thank you MR professional gamer. Not everyone wants to solo an MMO. Try thinking about other players and not just you.

Are you saying you used the Find Party function?
Or did you use Matchmaking for those dungeons under level 50*? Because they aren’t the same thing and I don’t think you can even use Find Party for content that isn’t Lv50+.

And if I understand the chat restriction correctly, it should only be applying to Area Chat. All other modes of communication should be fair game.
Which means this solution is useless. If it goes like New World did I will be getting a bunch of in game tells instead of area chat spam.
Like I’ve stated a few times in this thread, the solution is one tool of many.
All we have right now is Roxx’s word saying the team is working on various solutions and I’d rather have something than nothing.
Unfortunately I think Roxx may not be in the loop that well. On Monday Roxx said the chat restriction had no ETA for being added. AGS seems to have issues with communication among its own people, as well as its customers.

I would certainly hope so. Regardless, I see this as a knee jerk reaction to a problem they have certainly dealt with in other markets. It penalizes the majority to punish the slim minority. I’m currently working my way through the 20s and would have utilized area chat countless times by now, like many others.
AGS cant figure out how to ban spammers in NW and you have to buy that game to play. Though as the population drops the amount of gold sellers has decreased.
Well that’s not encouraging, however I would hope that between the maturity of the game, and the information sharing between the organizations would put the AGS team in a better position to properly deal with this issue.
