Maintenance Times EU

@Roxx

Hi Roxx,

As i’m sure you appreciate from the forums almost every time there is a maintenance there is an abundance of posts regarding timers for EU, how this is impacting peoples dailies etc with hotfixes in particular having little to no warning for EU due to the majority of us sleeping whilst they are announced.

Has this been fed back to the relevant teams and as a community could we please request an update as to what discussions are taking place to try and resolve this please and what if any solutions are being proposed?
The most ideal situation being staggered maintenance’s per region, however I also seen suggestions of carry over mechanics beyond the normal energy build up for those days for dailies, additional mats sent in proportion to lost amount at a daily average for characters marked as gold designated whom haven’t completed dailies, chaos potions sent out and i’m sure other suggestions.

I think we can all agree having maintenance’s first thing on a Saturday morning is not ideal for people when they wait all week to play properly.

Thanks

Considering how often this is brought up, i highly doubt ags will do anything with it. Eu is like unwanted child to them. Basically no issues that are eu related only were fixed. In-game timers, reset timers, maintenance timers, eu dedicated supports(excluding german only). They only slapped in more servers and whole region to suck in more players.

They may well not do anything and I agree EU can often feel like it’s a bolt-on region. However hopefully if we get a response from Roxx we will have an insight as to what is being actioned about it and if nothing we can push for some action to be taken.
It’s not any of the CM’s fault surrounding the timers etc but they are our quickest line of communication to those who can make these changes.

Since release they did multiple claims that this will be addressed. Nothing changed still, soo.

And right now the downtime is scheduled to keep the EU servers off line until (in the UK) midday on a Saturday!! Pretty much hitting some prime playing time for many in the EU. I will just have to get out a bit more today :slight_smile: But nevertheless this is rampant poor PR, once again.
