I have an audio interface with speakers, and a gaming headset. Like many others, I like to switch between these, and in EVERY other game I’ve played, it is possible. Either the game has a drop-down menu ingame where you switch the output, or it follows what you have set in windows.
Lost Ark has no option for this ingame, and it does not follow your changes in windows. To me it is stuck on the gaming headset no matter what. Very frustrating. I played 50 hrs or so at launch, and quit. Now back to check out the Machinist class, and Im amazed that this bug still hasnt been fixed. One would believe something technical like this would be a top priority.
For me, it follows my windows settings. I switch frequently from Speaker to Headset or the other way around, depending on if I am in a voice call or just chilling, until now never had problems switching to either of them
(Using Windows 10)
If you set windows audio to speakers before starting the game, do you still get audio to gaming headset?
Yeah, that is how I also switch between devices. When it is set to speakers before launching the game, I have no sound at all (but I do have sound from other applications). Then when I switch to the headset, I have sound in game.
