Major difference I noticed after coming onto NA from KR

True true

That’s correct, and the average opinion of anyone outside any culture. Although some, like Sweden’s, are a bit enviable.

Oh so you know. I will put it simple then. Don’t you think after all what happened people has right to be mad? Or it’s okay to f all player over and over again and come see forums like flower garden. Full of happiness and smiles after getting repeatedly f.
Personally i would be more amazed after all F up and history with NW (who played) that people would be hyper happy in forums. But i guess that’s just me.

shrugs, heard at least one bad thing there - overly sensitive, and u cant even say anything bad to kids, like … kids are king and u dont dare to scold them or anything ? lol

To a certain extent, but no culture is perfect, theirs is simply better overall, which doesn’t mean it has no drawbacks.

Never said they didn’t, lol. I think you got lost somewhere in the conversation.

Well maybe. But my point is people become toxic because game environment made them so. For example ff14 was eye opening for me personally what community can be if game is loved by developer and managed well. Culture has little to do with anything if game is managed well, so here won’t be toxicity or it will be at very minimal levels.

Edit: If you are put in game environment which is managed well and rules are enforced and you are not punished by helping others and money is not the real power community would be diffrent. Now you login see people after pheon drama/ disconnects / some who started early access flash backs people / class release management to earn max profits and so on and on (because here were tons of f ups). You start to get more easily triggered. If game is already f you over for doing some things not the “right way” (like playing alts as f2p and times becomes of essence) people will get toxic naturally.

This is true, but culture does, in fact, have a huge impact on this as can be clearly seen through the differences between versions of the same game, the initial reactions from the west upon release, and the way content is treated in different cultures, Artist being a prime example.

Difference in version is because of the publisher not culture. Look at the shadowhunter or whatever… People want the same things but its like that blizzard quote “…you think you do but you don’t”. Versions are different because publisher decide so. Early release was disaster - promised for early starters to get better chance for nickname you want (because you connect earlier than others). Game comes out… steam players left to wait hours till it’s on and boom welcome to few hours que because other platform people had no problems and nicknames? Well it is what it is.

You lost track again, or misunderstood what I wrote.
The differences I’m referring to are not the client files/changes by the publisher, but the following;

and what did i misunderstood ? what is wrong with artist that it has something to do with culture?. I m lost why artist is prime example of culture?

I honestly wish that was the response I got from every person on these forums. This would be a significantly better environment in that case. I’d rather not get into it, but thank you for a decent conversation.

No problem. It just character with different kit and strategies. New class, people should be excited for it and that’s all. It’s pixels. If you find problem with artist you should ask yourself - are you excited how pixels looks or are you excited of gameplay and new skills to try out and see if its for you or you prefer other classes.

No issue doing clown pugs and with other’s alts with + 19 weapon .
Just do mech , and class synergy would matter if the weapon honing is lacking a little

I will take a +20, +19 with 1500+ ilvl is a quite a bit exaggerated…but if i don’t have enough ppl, and guy is properly gemed and engraved. i’ll take it i guess.

people do favor higher weapons, well the good people at least

is that what u are watching only the weapon gear score ? what if u take a guy who is +21 wep but 50 quality and 4x3x1 engravings but i take a guy who has 19 wep with 100 quality and 5x3 ?

I disagree KR culture has many positives.
Before we point fingers a history lesson.

USA dropped more bombs in Korea both North and South than the entirety of WW fucking 2 Pacific campaign which involved multiple countries including Japan. Korea ranks as one of the most bombed countries in history Seoul was leveled to kingdom come…

We conveniently ignore what we did to South Korea. After the war Korea was pretty much fucked and it took a lot of ingenuity, risk taking, hard work to climb out of that hell hole. That mentality brought us LG, Samsung, Hyundai. Understandably its there culture and it “works” we should respect their customs too.

All cultures have all kinds of downsides and upsides.

KR culture has quite few downsides when it comes to living there - and two major issues are regarding Education and Work , which are very important.

Also i aint from america.
Also, history doesnt matter - i am talking about Culture, not History.

history frames culture

KR strive to be the best and is “cut throat” precisely because they remember the days when they were destitute and had nothing.

The elderly had to make many sacrifices to make Korea what it is today. You were criticizing KR work effort which requires them to be the best, but disregard the WHY. After telling you as expected unsurprisingly dismissive. KR is a brutally competitive environment because less than 70 years ago the country has been in nothing but war and occupation. The economy only recently recovered from decades of exploitation starting 2001 and has shown tremendous growth beating all odds. The Korea we know today only really existed for 21 years and obv they don’t want to turn back. Its why they work hard, education, many of your complaints, etc.

Many Asian countries had similar experiences like for example China and famine.
Just saying shouldn’t write blanket statements talking shit about countries without understanding where they come from. Also, the drinking culture you mentioned is not 100% true either.
