Make a use for trash books

Currently most lower books are just trash that we throw away after raids. It’d be cool if they had more purpose and there was more of a market for them so newer players had it a little easier buying what they need.

My thinking is that maybe you could collect 20 of a book to upgrade it to the next tier. This upgrade would be untradeable, of course.

It’d also be cool if you could use this to trade up to relic books, i.e. increase the cap one more level so that you could get +15 for an engraving, though that’d likely have to come much later on in the game.

They should just rework most engravings. The current pool is limiting and repetitive

Maybe even have a choice to re-roll the book for a certain price, like re-rolling a legendary book by consuming three other legendary books!

Or, let people exchange it for different engraving of the same type (combat and class type). Of course ratio could be 5 or 10 for 1 if they’re not feeling generous. But it still better than nothing

Something similar to map exchange but for engraving books. Like upgrade 10 or 20 books for a random upgraded book.

those are here by design to water down the correct loot and create a scarcity of them.

What if there was a mat you get for dismantling books, let’s call it knowledge tokens, and you get x amount for purples and y for yellows.

You can turn in those tokens to purchase a non-tradeable gold book. Combat and class (class books would cost more obviously)

Then make the exchanged book as bound or bound to roster. Scarcity still there but people at least can progress themself slowly but surely instead of just now that you need to buy everything. Its also part of the reason why rmt will be more relevant, its not the whole problem but it helps the problem expand

That would be a win. Rng is my enemy in the game. Fortunatelly we have mr frog back on the menu xd
