Copying this from a previous post because there have been a lot of people saying the system is fine, but what I’m asking is why wouldn’t this work better?
Ideas:
- Make pheon cost scaling. If part of its purpose is to prevent flipping, have the cost start low and increase greatly.
This leaves the option of handing over a lot more gold or cash if you want to rush, but lightens the burden on newer players or alts getting into new tiers. - Remove the cost of pheons and start the tax at legendary gear.
Let’s be real. The game starts at T3, let people enjoy messing around with skills and engravings they find fun at a reasonable cost. The gear is pretty trashy and not worth flipping anyways. - Add pheon cost to gems. This w/ scaling pheon cost would make it harder to buy tons of low level gems and upgrade them all at once. It would put a hinderance on botters and RMT. If they are gonna trade in your game illegally at least get them back and make them pay you for it.
- Make ability stones cost 1 pheon and set the scaling so that you can roll or trade maybe 3-5 stones a week before noticing the tax getting hefty.
If anyone can see how these suggestions are going to break or ruin the game, I’d love to talk more about it. But I think this is a good start towards making some changes that could be reasonable to see in the future
