Make Thronespire and Anguished islands engraving pouches tradeable for a week

The patch made the books untradeable - this change.

  • Thronespire - the Legendary Engraving Recipe Selection Pouch is now untradeable.
  • Anguished Isle - Legendary Engraving Recipes are now untradeable. "

Now, many people simply saved those pouches / books to sell them. Many people already sold those.

But now, out of a blue, without any warning, this change made them untradeable, meaning that is a quite huge loss of gold.
This can be loss of 40-60k gold for those that didnt use any of those pouches.

If there was any warning, sure - but there was none.
Could we get some compensation, or change those pouches to tradeable for like a week or something?
There is no reason to not do that. Because bots do not stock up on those - they simply sell them when they get them.

But this hurt many players for no good reason. Giving people some period of time to use them would be appreciated.

Lets be real here, anyone that had them already sold them. Otherwise they were waiting for Lost Ark 2.

This is quite a bit of gold. Many people simply didnt sell those because there was no need to, they could just sell it when they needed gold.

You cant just make tradeable staff untradeable at moment notice, as that is extremely unfair towards players.

Imagine that people bought skin to sell them later, and you would make them untradeable - that would be a horrible attitude towards players.
And this is the same thing.

Please define ‘many’.
It’s been over 6 months since I sold those and I was already late going into Anguish compared to everyone else on my server.

I’m suspecting this person is running bots to sell these boxes. If you waited 9 months to sell, you obviously never needed the gold as urgently as you’re saying now. Also they announced 24 hours ago that it’d be untradeable. That’s enough time to log on, open the boxes, and hold onto the books.

You are aware you only need to do the hardest one and it’ll clear all the previous floors for you automatically right?

Usually its like 10 hours in advance.

Either way, that is not enough, as i was working that day.

Either way, this should be fixed.

i dont need the gold urgently, and i never needed it - but the fact is that now i lost some of it, and that is unacceptable.

You have tons of items in your bank - imagine you would suddenly lost them. That is a horrible attitude towards players, thus some fix is in order.

Except you didn’t lose it. It just became untradeable. And that’s on you for not selling it for over half a year. This is like getting upset that McDonald’s no longer offers a sandwich that you hadn’t even eaten in 8 months. You never needed it nor cared about it until its gone. The devs don’t have to give you anything just because you have FOMO
