Such a simple fix to be done. Make EVERY single mat in that shop bound. Yes it will hurt a very small % of people who run infinite chaos. But lets be honest. In 100 people how many actually run them for a big ammount of hours or to sell 5-10 leaps? 1 or 2? Bots how many are destroying the economy and stacking millions of currency to buy relic accessories soon? Hundreds and hundreds. Make everything bound. Hundreds of bots and every single user that bought those softwares for stupid prices will be done.
TLDR; MAKE EVERYTHING BOUND FROM THAT SHOP.

you’re missing the point, its the same concept which is cheating (either through paying or technical skill), but the industry and rich spoiled children have put in your mind that there’s nothing wrong with paying to have and advantage in an online game (maybe you work a lot, maybe you wanna suport the developers), they’ve brainwashed everyone to the point that you dont see it as cheating anymore (who would play a game when someone can pay to have an advantage, wouldnt be fair), but you all still see botting as cheating (as you should) so you complain about botting and not paying, in essence they’re the same.
Imagine this in the olympics, hey Elon Musk works pretty hard he doesnt have time to train like everybody else, he should be allowed to pay the IOC to start a race 4/5 of the way. Medal board would read:
Elon Musk 44 Gold 33 Silver 26 Bronze
Jeff Bezos 39 Gold 27 Silver 19 Bronze
Bill Gates 21 Gold 19 Silver 22 Bronze

Think a bit before calling everything a Fake… there’s even a method to “cheat” pvp points earned, obviously…so you are being extreme faster as some playing 24/7 pvp…
Some ppl had dupe premium platinium items and such, how many of them just took advantage on it… they still told they removed dupes but what about that gold earned meanwhile dupe bug was active… I saw many platinium skins being sold for 25k gold meanwhile they are 250k now…
When there was no events ( 1 -2 months ago), i was farming Chaos Dungeon daily min. 10h+ and i wasnt able to get all these mats. You can’t get all those mats as a Real player.

I think it is safe to suggest deleting this infinite chaos vedor is the solution or at least put a cap to restrict how much they can be bought. Even a hardcore player will not find this way of farming mats effective. There is no point to have this system in thr game in the first place. Real players make alts to get more mats not farming chaos.

Well as long as you guys are aware. I mean, it’s only been 3 months and it’s not like the bots have done irreparable damage to the game’s economy already.
When everyone else is scraping the bottom of the barrel to earn some gold, the botters/chinese streamers have literal hundreds of thousands of gold (if not millions and not necessarily actual gold but TONS of mats).
I’m very aware this issue cannot be solved overnight but so far you’ve done a truly laughable job.
I would genuinely play on the KR servers at this point if I could and wouldn’t care starting from scratch as the EU/NA launch has been an absolute disaster.

nah I am too much of a chicken to try it myself and just got my computer fixed. having my steam account linked to this forum I’d be a fool using cheats and talking about it on the forum.
But it’s hard to trust anyone’s word on the internet

at this point, any first region achievements done by NA are a laughable joke and completely invalidated by the fact that such a large portion of the playerbase cheated to get there
The devs can do one thing to stop bots, but people are not gonna like it.

Once again. Where is AGS fault in any of that? Do you still not know that AGS didn’t develop the game? They publish the game for EU/NA/SA. Smilegate are the developers based in Korea who actually MAKE the game. All that you named you can say is “Smilegate’s fault” but it has nothing to do with AGS. Do your research before typing.

I hope you guys can talk with SGR and ninja nuke the chaos dungeon vendor. Making all materials from the vendor roster bound and easier to get seems to be the apporach.
Yeah, but If I was to run it, I wouldn’t let them do infinite runs, I’d let them do 2 and then rotate to the next 4k accounts and so on.

MOST of us aren’t cheating, MOST of us do not use bots and MOST of us do not buy Gold from botters (although in many cases probably out of fear for bans).
And what is an IP ban going to do? Getting a new IP takes me 10 seconds. All I need to to is sever and re-establish the connection to my ISP.

While Botting is ofc an issue… it is no more of an issue for players than the whaling mechanics. The real issue is ofc unbalanced content rewarding players for not actually playing the game and still getting rewarded more than ANY person that is actually playing.
It’s called P2W… and this is the main issue the game has. And every single issue of the game right now is directly related to exactly this. AGS is not going to fix it since it makes them money. And SmileGate have shown for years they don’t care by implementing more and more P2W into the game.

Also p2w do not exist here,because you are just paying to progress faster, the content is not gated behind a pay-wall, everyone will catch up eventuality because the artisan’s energy feature exist.
Also this game is not a race.
AGS is loosing money yes… but hey also made a system that is built around paying Real money to progress. Call it pay to win or pay to progress faster. You think these PLAYERS that are botting now in Chaos are doing it cause it’s fun? Nope they benefit more from it than actually playing any other content in the game. Exact same thing as the whales that gain MORE for paying Real money than actually playing. This is the real issue - it has always been and it will only get ALOT worse when more and more players will realise how beneficial it is - the further they get into the game and The real money turns into 10s of thousands to “progress”.
Alot of ppl will have multiple botting accounts and then send everything to their main… As long as the main is not directly botting… you can not do anything about it. And all because AGS/SG want to make whale money over actually balancing the game and create real stops where real money and cheating does not become the winning method in this … yes… P2W game.
