Is it worth to upgrade your maps to legendary or just use them as you obtain them?

Don’t upgrade to legendary, stick to epic upgrades

This is the first I’ve heard of this. Could you (or anyone) share why Epic is better than Legendary for chaos gate maps?

First because of the chance to upgrade it, upon upgrade you loose a purple map if it fails )) you don’t want that.

Also I think you need 4 purple for a 100% chance to upgrade to legendary, 4 purple map that you run with 3 other people will give you more than one run with 3 other people with a legendary map.

I only do blue to purple upgrade (needs 2 maps to have 50% chance, which isn’t bad)
Purple to legendary needs in total 3 purple to have 50% success, I don’t think it’s worth it. Too easy to lose 2 purple maps.
