Matchmaking Issue (NAE)

I was in dual matchmaking for 1302 on an alt to run Guardian - Armored Nacrasena. We would wait in a que for 6-10 minutes and nothing will pop up. It will go between 2/4 - 3/4 but the que will never pop up. I thought it was due to insufficient amount of people queing up for the guardian since it was past midnight.

However when we went our separate ways and solo que’d, we both instantly qued into a match with other people.

The same thing happened again today.

This is kind a scuffed, please fix this? I like queing up with people I know and it kind of sucks when the que only works when I go alone. I understand there’s party finder, we did that but no one requested lol. Either way if this matchmaking is not an intended feature I thought I will go and post about this issue.

Had exactly the same experience on EUC today, also on armored necrasena, also going into MM with a party of 2. it would keep jumping to 3/4 and then back to 2/4. We thought it was the same guy who just wasn’t patient or multiple people just missing each other. We both tried solo and instantly got a match, so also here not a lack of overall players.

We were two sorcs, many times i’ve noticed MM will make very heterogenous groups when queing solo. Is MM somehow broken trying to make an even group and failing due to us already being 2 sorcs in a party? I do however remember having MM a low tier guardian raid which ended up to be a 3 bard, 1 sorc affair … so it can’t be that simple, can it?
