I’m not saying the CM’s should solve the problems, the reality is that from the top down, Amazon’s communication with it’s userbase is absolutely abysmal.
CM’s should be chasing active updates from their technical teams instead of resting on their laurels waiting to be drip fed information. Posting “We’re working on it” does absolutely nothing for public morale, which I would argue is the single greatest driving factor in a game from an external source (not including the actual game itself).
If I ran this company, even if my CM’s could not fix the issues, I would ensure they were actively engaging with the community on every issue, not just cherry pick the issues with the least amount of hostility. Their approach is lazy and screams complacency.
This issue is honestly more frustrating than queue, past 2 pm we literally can’t play any party content which is a bit ridiculous in an MMO
I doubt that they cherry pick the issues here. Even if they do there is little to no evidence for it unless someone got any insight on what’s going on in the background. With that said i’d guess that it is an assumption or your perception of the situation.
It’s a little convenient that they have the time to reply to the “Quest Bugged”, “Translation Error”, “Missing Item” threads but don’t have any time to post on the ‘Queue, Incentive, Compensation’ threads.
If something is way too convenient to be an accident then it probably means it’s deliberate.
Sitting on queue for few hours, then can’t enter chaos or guards, most of the time even solo. Greate.

Yeah I agree, they should be fixing it as soon as they see none can really do anything matchmaking related in the evening because of the huge amount of people playing. But everything they did, it was in NA timezone and fucked everyone up in EU, I guess they dont want to do any maintenance because everyone already complained a lot.
I really hope they fix it next week.
They keep this state over the weekend intentionally to promote the new servers in EUW
Trixion here, queue starts around 11am (GMT+1) lag appears later 1-2pm (GMT+1) but you can enter dungeons, at 4pm (GMT+1) queue is at 12-15k, the server is trash and you need to hammer the board with hoping to successfully tag ! By 6pm (GMT+1) the queue is beyond 18k and infinity… you can try guardians, abyss, raid, for hours and never get in… Even for solo content like chaos/tower the lag is a mess and can kick you out…
One thing though : I lost my Premium for 4 days now it s back YEAHHHH !!!

Puting an orphan server away from others wont fix the issue, people will abandon the game instead of starting over without what they paid for…
You had a gold mine in your hands, Lost Ark never failed since it’s launch, it s always growing in every version >< But you still manage to kill it EU-wise…

I mean once you get into the game you can’t play anyway because NOTHING WORKS… I’d much rather sit in a 10h queue and be able to play than this. not even solo chaos/abyss dungeon works you just get error

Oh well, at least NA will get some bonus trinkets as compensation for us EU players getting cucked.
I highly doubt that you want to sit in a 10 hr Q. It was already confirmed by staff that there will be a fix for the matchmaking issue in the next patch. While it is a critical function in a mmorpg, it’s not hindering you of actually playing the game.
I just did several runs in Chaos dungeons and yeah it’s annoying but it will eventually work.
This means that I have to be awake until 2 / 4 AM to do the dailies because they fucked up? Atleast give us something not a 3 days crystalline aura
And when is “the next patch”? How is it not hindering you from playing the game? I need more gear to progress further in the story. So i can’t do story and i can’t do dungeons/raids. What content am i supposed to do? Collect seeds?
Only way to fix this is to give people enough compensations that they would move in another region. Give skins, mounts, pets, blue crystals whatever that is bound to EUW. Make them as login rewards or anything. (Sent them ingame email or be creative how to deliver those items. Like free item at the store that will be delivered via mail. (product inventory is no go, because it can be used other regions too.). It’s only way to get people moving.
They didn’t say a date yet but i would assume around next week thursday.

Gear progression is one tiny bit of the whole game, although content is locked at lower item lvls.
Without knowing your avg. item lvl i can’t really give any advice but so far i’ve done far more content outside dungeons or raids. Adventure Quests (purple), Seeds, Exploration on islands, daily quests, levelling trade skills and events.

My next purple quest is to reach the next zone which i can’t do at my itemlevel and i can’t reach that itemlevel either as the content for it doesn’t work.
Daily quests are done within an hour, So basically the only content is seeds and island exploration.
I have no interest in collectibles at this point in the game.
Also having lunch and being back into a 2 hour queue is great. Guess i’m done playing for the day.
We have already had this issue the entire week and they are waiting ANOTHER week to fix it? is this a joke?
