To whomever reads this at the support side of things.
First of all, a great game throughout what goes story, feeling of the game etc.
But as we all are aware, there are some massive server issues in terms of logging into the game, matchmaking and the likes, sometimes a server lag.
I remember back to the FFXIV launch (also a great game) where there was major server instability due to the fact of so many people logging into the game continously as its fame and reputation grew, just like Lost Ark is doing right now.
Instead of shutting down the entire EU Region as some players in here are suggesting, which honestly wouldn’t impact the fixing side of things for the developers, I’d recommend to make the game TEMPORARILY unavailable in the Steam store / website, this would infact help with the servers handling the current number of players, while the developers are fixing the server wide issues that are occurring, and once dealt with make it available to the public again.
Let the players that are have already downloaded the game, enjoy the game without newcomers coming in and overloading the servers which is what is happening right now.
This is just a thought, I believe this could help mitigate some of the problems that are occurring at the very moment while the developers look into how to create stability for ongoing onboarding of newcomers.
I hope everyone in spite of this is enjoying the game as much as I do, and I can’t wait for the endgame content grind that will happen once the server issues have been fixed.
