What u should raise is the rmt problems and be more strict about it
This is such a toxic and disgusting company. I’m sick of RMTers. I’m sick of cash grab games. I’m sick of bots. I’m sick of gatcha. IDK why you people idolize gold river. That guy created an even more toxic version of the game in Korea and the watered down, less monitized NA version is an abomination of gaming.
@Roxx with my respect but please understand one thing: In the EU, the customer has 14 days to dispute all purchases, especially if the customer complaining about they haven’t got the service they paid for. Maybe is not known in the US but the European Union has very strict policies which protect the customers. This law covers digital content as well.
Please, get familiar with the laws before you threaten the customers. I’m sure the US has something that protects them as well.
There are -especially in the EU - lots of players who know their rights because every purchase includes the guarantee of purchase. Amazon and Steam also have to obey this law if they want to operate here. And they know it.
Thank you for your attention.
That was not a threat but a friendly warning. Steam is notorious for being extremely aggressive when it comes to any charge backs. I’ve heard of people spending years fighting them and still never getting access to their accounts back.
I get the frustration surrounding this game and wanting to get your money back but this is one of those cases where the risk is not worth it. Especially if you are playing on a longtime established account with hundreds of games on it like me and many others. There was another thread posted earlier discussing the possibility of consumer rights violations but people really underestimate the broadness of the TOS. It protects AGS from a lot of things excepting certain local laws. You would need to contact someone with a law degree to investigate if you have other options available to you.
The other thread I referred to:
A threat can be defined as a latent threat triggered by a fact or event that has not yet occurred. For example, which arises when one person asks another to do something, and if it doesn’t, it can be a consequence. Calling a threat a “warning” does not reduce the fact of others lose things if they do not obey.
So, in simple: If Roxx asks the player/customer to discuss their matter with the company that provides service before taking any action, that’s a warning.
But if Roxx: Simply declare that there is a serious consequence if the player/consumer doesn’t obey, that is a threat.
It takes less than 2 hours flat to farm for 30 days of aura.
30 days of aura is 4 full Oreha Wells without chest (600g + 900g per 20~ mins run), it’s outrageous but doable for me, a living nightmare for people still in T2, tho.
I mean im not gonna split hairs with you over the definition of the word threat ![]()
she was just letting the guy know that steam does not screw around with charge backs. Just facts. Not even something that she or AGS have control over. Granted they could do right by the customers and start banning RMTers and implementing effective anti-cheat solutions. But as far as the charge backs specifically go that is 100% a steam problem.
Rmt/whales/gold buyer/whatever cool title we’re giving them dont effect you.
Thinking they selfsabotage with using bots?
Yall are delusional lmao. This thread was a good read though.
Queues? Swap server or region, thats what we did in eu. If we can do it, you can too.
I believe in you!
AGS doesn’t have control over what steam and valve do. It’s not a threat to tell you “hey the guy over there is beating up anyone who walks down this street, think carefully before you walk down this street.”
Ofc they have. The seller determines whenever they accept the return/refund. Especially in EU, as I mentioned, very strict the policy on customers’ rights. The Lost Ark game and everything they sell with the game that’s not owned by Steam, the products rights owned by the publisher and the developer.
They try to trick the customers by using another channel to sell their product but that doesn’t matter. The rule is: If any seller, trader, business, etc want to trade in the EU they have to follow the EU and their countries’ law. No matter what.
If you charge back, you took money out of both Steam and AGS’s pockets; it might be justified depending on the situation. If Steam takes action on that, which it is their policy to do, AGS has 0 control over that. AGS telling you what Steam’s policy is isn’t them threatening you.
If you feel you’re entitled to a refund, which you very well may be, that’s a seperate issue from AGS telling you that Steam responds to chargebacks with account terminations on accounts that AGS has 0 control over. Even if AGS asked Steam to not ban the Steam account, Steam has no reason to listen to AGS.
If you feel AGS is breaking laws regarding refunds, take it up with the appropriate governing body. Even if they are breaking those laws, them informing you that Steam responds to chargebacks with account terminations is still not a threat, since they don’t control that process. If they said that they would repsond to a chargeback with a termination of your Lost Ark account, something that they personally control and can choose to do or not to do, that would be a threat.
The customer protection act is very clear. Ombudsman’s also very strict. There are only few questions: Does the company that sold the product do everything to proved a service to the customer? Yes or No.
Did the seller provided adequate service/support to the customer that was purchased? Yes or No?
Did the seller offer a refund/compensation to a customer? Yes or No?
Did the customer contact the seller to discuss matters? Yes or No?
Did the seller provided enough information and answer the customer in a time frame that is in the customer protection act? Yes or No?
Did the seller offer a full refund on the purchase of what is in the customer protection act? Yes or No?
I’m sorry but I’m very familiar with Customer Protection. In and out. Also in the EU coming soon a very strict law about Customer protection on digital services, games, etc.
I’ve made no comments on the Consumer Protection angle. I’ve said you may very well be right that you’re entitled to a refund and AGS is breaking the law.
All I’ve said is that they didn’t threaten you, which they didn’t.
If you tell someone if he/she does not obey he/she loses what he/she paid for that’s a threat.
In a criminal and also a private matters as well.
They’re telling you that a seperate party has a policy that they enforce when you chargeback. A party that they have no control over and who has no reason to listen to anything AGS requests. That’s not a threat.
It’s not a threat in the same way that me telling you “If you murder someone, the government will prosecute you and send you to jail” isn’t a threat.
She was doing him a favor are you freaking kidding me right now? What was she supposed to just let him get his entire steam account nuked? Comon man. You’re not even being remotely logical about this

Since the last few days on NAW quite a large amount of players since most people don’t want to wait for 2+ hours to do dailies. That’s why you are seeing more posts like this on the forums. It’s not just the queue times too. There have literally been game breaking bugs since these last two patches that made the game unplayable for some.
