First of all, this is the first time I’ve had this issue. My friend says it occurs to him often, and he solves it by restarting the game, which I tried and that didn’t fix my issue.
When I try to open a menu like Inventory or map it would open for a second then close immediately.
I hold down the button like ‘i’ for inventory I can open it, but then when I tap ‘i’ I cannot close it. It would close, then immediately reopen the inventory.
I presume the bug reads the key press twice. So if the inventory is closed currently, tapping ‘i’ would open then close, If the inventory was open, tapping ‘i’ would close then open. All because it registered the input twice… This is just a guess for now.
Again, my friend says it’s normally fine again when he restarts the game, but it hasn’t worked for me yet. I will try to start the game again after I do this event coming up soon… which I hope works.
Edit: My 2nd game restart fixed the issue. Since this issue has occurred multiple times for my friend, it is still likely to occur again in the future and the root cause of the issue still needs to be fixed.
It’s been a while. Here to report that the issue occurred again.
I tried using “switch character” which did not work
I logged back into the character select screen and log into the character, that didn’t work
I restarted the game 2 times and that finally worked. The first restart did not work, but the 2nd did.
This would be less annoying if the game did not take several minutes to reach the server selection screen. Whoever is in charge of optimizing the game should look into the long game launch time.

Hello i have the same issues with the inventory, map, daylie quests, skills that charges (i Cant use any Skills that requiers Holding the key. The skill geht canceld or fails) etc. but it is not everytime. Sometimes everything is just fine. Mostly it is Not Fine First i thought it was my Laptop, But it happens too when i am using an extern keyboard.
It is really frustrating.
Also in the last week it has gotten worse, most of the time restarting the game fixes it for the time being but just now i closed the game closed steam and restarted 3 times in a row and have the issue each time its really frustrating.
may or may not be related but it happened the 3 times with steam overlay turned off, i then turned it back on and it was fine. No idea if that had anything to do with it or just random.
For me at least it’s 100% yolomouse’s new version. I’m going to have to revert it. Alt-TAB out and close yolomouse in the status bar and the behavior goes away. Tab out again and start yolomouse the behavior returns.
After turning on my computer, I loaded Firefox, Google Chrome, Discord, and then the Lost Ark game.

I noticed my menu screen would close immediately after opening. I decided to continue trying out the new guardian today, and my skills that are combo or charge do not work as intended when this issue occurs.
After restarting the game (that still takes too long too load btw) the issue was resolved.
