Also just wanted to point out two things to everyone saying “you are just stupid for not reading the patch notes!”
This above ARE the official patch notes from their website regarding the April patch stating it will “allow players to select one of their characters at combat level 50 that’s UNDER item level 1000”. So why was there an option to choose a character above 1000 in the first place?
Also its called “EXPRESS MISSION EVENT”, not “SUPER EXPRESS MISSION EVENT” like its called ingame. It can easily be misunderstood for some kind of additional bonus event also for t3 characters that hasnt been mentioned in the patch notes yet!
Either way its very misleading and its also inacceptable that they didnt include a big warning on the screen of the event yet!
So please stop complaining about people choosing the wrong character because its not our fault but the cause of poor overall communication! I mean its good for you, that you were lucky or maybe smart enough to choose the right character or wait long enough for others to fail so you can do it right or watch youtubers explaining how its done correctly.
Its already a big issue as you can see because not everybody reads patch notes or does it right away when a new patch arrives! We are not committed to read the patch notes and i know they are not committed either to solve this issue, but acting that way only makes the situation worse for them as the amount of justifiably frustrated players only grows. I wouldnt be surprised if many of them already consider quitting simply for messing up with user friendliness over and over since launch day.
Anyways i dont wish for that since Lost Ark is an overall good and fun game and as said the event itself is amazing! So please let people reset their Express Event and actually implement a goddamn warning on the ingame screen!

I submitted this post on the other thread however i was referred to this thread as the “Main one”
I’ve claimed this on my T3 main before the hot fix added all the warnings

Can we get some clarity already? Are we royally screwed or can we expect some sort of a solution. At least to allocate the honing buffs to a different character that’s eligible or something similar.

No. It was not “accident” or because you “didn’t read it right” it was because it was NOT clear and concise In Game. Don’t blame yourself for this at all! GL on hopefully getting the event transferred.
