Every time a line is printed in the in-game chat window there is a very short but annoying frame time spike.
Every time the UI does something that hasn’t been cached in this session there is a very noticeable short freeze.
There seem to have been multiple reports about these issues but no official response thus far.
Apparently this has been an issue since beta?
How did this game ship with such an obvious flaw?
Not to mention the overall poor performance in cities and some islands…
Here are my current specs:
CPU: Intel Core i5 6600K (tested on 3.5 and 3.9GHz)
GPU: Nvidia Geforce RTX 2060 Super (tested with various driver versions up to 511.79)
RAM: 16GB DDR4 (2x8GB)
Storage: 500GB Crucial SSD (SATA)
OS: Windows 10 Pro (64bit)
