You are probably wondering or have some ideaswhat kind of min maxing players are doing that is ruining the game. No i’m not talking about the player behaviour. I’m talking about SG their min maxing for profit.
Their kind of min maxing is what kind of minimum effort they have to put in the West to increase their maximum amount of profit. It seems like they are getting lazy in the ways of milking their cash cow (us).
Yes, they removed some of the extreme p2w things they got away with in KR in our version. But even for a tuned down version, this game is overflowing with greed and cash grabs.
I was letting this pass, they played the p2w dripping into the game slow (let’s ignore argos release) and to be honest because I liked the game soo i accepted it same as the other survivors of this abusive relationship.
The honeymoon phase is starting to fade more and more, their marketing focused release schedule can’t be unseen even with our lovestruck honeymoney glasses.
The promises before our marriage are being broken, not by ignorance but by greed.
Artist release forced in april with HM Brel for plain obvious marketing reasons is the biggest slap in our face.
At least we had a good year, glad we can experience Brel before looking into the next game we can play.
Everything NA/EU has to date is old code that required zero actual developmental effort to put forth to us. It’s pure profits.
We do not have a team dedicated to improving our experience and we will continue to be slow fed the game in small bites, using nonsense like “classes are content” to fill gaps in time.
They have very little incentive to focus on regions outside of KR since if we don’t like the content, to bad, we can leave, any money we spent is already AGS/SGs and it cost them next to nothing to get that money.
They have no incentive to fight the bot issue, they make the numbers look good for one and it’s a huge overhead loss in that free profit to try and develop solutions to this problem.
The changes to our client are based around monetization, what works best to try and draw in the most amount of NA/EU players to spend money before they quit. It isn’t about player retention, it’s about what is best for AGS as a publisher to avoid the most legal hassle or negative press.
Yoz Jar was a legal issue, not a player feedback change
Artist skins was a negative press issue, not a player feedback change.
The SH transformation is some kind of weird racial thing that I don’t understand at all.
How our client is monetized is an incentive to join and spend. You actually staying after you spend means nothing in the grand scheme of things. They got money from you, that’s the goal.
Your feedback is for something that’s in the past. You are giving feedback on how the game used to be, not how it is today (for KR). New to us means nothing, it’s old to those who are in charge of continued development.
The only way any of this will ever change is if NA/EU has it’s own independent or sub-dependent group of developers who’s focus it is to work on our version of the game.
I am truly surprised at the amount of people that seem to blame others for their own actions. People that fall for this stuff in a silly video game, smh.
