On one hand, you have tackled the negative repercussions your mistake had on the player base. Added to that, you included a compensation so there’s hardly a reason to complain on that regard.
On the other hand, players who bought the materials and stored them (not even because of abusing, just because they could) are the clear winners here. This only leads to one learning from all of this and its to try and take advantage of everything whenever we can, sometimes it wont work (pheongate) others it will (toad shop).
I still think leaving this week as roster bound, and capping it for the remaining duration was a better solution: simpler and more even towards the whole of the playerbase.
It sounds like only the random chests are being locked / removed / refunded?
So anyone that opened them and then stored just get to keep them? I feel like the issue isn’t solved if that’s the case.
They just had to let it be and for next week change it to Character Bound, solved, everyone would be fine with that, maybe some smaller complains since it is not as good as having them Roster Bound, but it would be fair to everyone. But no, it is AGS, masters of bad PR with lack of even basic logical thinking, people who are punishing players more than bots do, masters of all fuckups…
I wasn’t even planning to buy any mats from that shop, and now they telling me they gon give me a free grudge book, so now im only missing 8 of them, I obvioulsy don’t say no but im confused lol
People who have used it won’t have a problem with it or lose the materials, simply a poor troubleshooting option. I myself bought and saved to level up a future character as I always do, but it is no longer possible, but those who bought and opened and leveled a character will continue like this.

That rubbish engraving saved me whatever an artist class engraving costs so i take that as W. Plus frog is now staying 2 extra weeks which means even if you missed this week you get that week back plus one AND he’ll be here with Artist. At least for me as someone making an Artist to main and push to Brel hard week 1, this “mistake” is nothing but positives. Artist mains are absolutely coming out on top here.
Who cares if a few people will keep the mats, stop being jealous, we should be glad that a few lucky guys were able to keep their mats lmao
The solution is a W cuz they are extending it 2 weeks and we will be able to get engravings for the artist.

I was already planning to save the frog boxes for Artist as it was confirmed they’ll be retroactively added now I get to have 100k other players contributing as well to the influx of books. Instead of being like Summoner and Reaper whos books where 25k+ each mine will just plummet down to 10-15k.
I mean I’ve known I was going to main artist since I saw her in KR I have well over 500k shards saved + 8 silvery honor chests. As for my roster I have 7 characters capable of buying the leapstone chests, assuming the chests inside the random chests are still roster bound I net 1120 Leapstones per week for her and its only 6217 on average to hit 1490 from 1415 and thats without a hyper express. So yea, this toad extension will buy every single one of my needed leapstones at a massively reduced cost.
My cost per week in leapstones for that 1120 is 21k flat.
Also not sure how we lost 3 weeks? Even if you didn’t buy this week at all you’ll make up the week with the extension + an added week. So worst case scenario the event is 1 week longer even for somone who made zero purchases this week. There is no lost week at all

Also, each of those leapstone random chests outputs 2 leapstone chests its 20 per character that buys the leapstone chests btw so all your numbers need to be cut in half at minimum.
I’m also not entirely following your math at all. It seems like you’re trying to talk down to me but none of your math adds up or makes any sense. I think you’re comparing the market price to the vendor prices? But even then since you’re saying theres only 10 boxes all your numbers are wrong to begin with as opening each box nets 2 leapstone / support selections or 4 shard bags.
You are wrong on a basic regard. You can’t acumulate the leapstones of your seven characters into the artist anymore. 2 weeks of frogs during Artist means 2 alts worth of leapstones this week if you did it before the block.
You’re assuming the chests inside the random chests are no longer roster bound. As far as we’ve been told only the random chests directly from the frog are character bound meaning the shards are lost for her, however all the support honing material chests and the leapstone chests are still roster bound. Meaning for the next 6 or 7 weeks I can still buy the leapstones and support honing chests. Of course this banks of them being true to their word and only the random chests themselves becoming character bound.
