Its not against ToS because its not doing anything with the game data like DPS meter. This is just an overlay.
PS: If you are using DPS meter you are fine until you are not shaming others on chat that your third party program showing that he is doing bad dmg.
Any 3rd party program that doing anything with the game. But this is not doing anything with the game. Its like you are opening the cheat sheet in your browser. Thats why its safe to use.
LA raids are already so easy, DBM will make them braindead.
Bingo helper is not anything like DBM, you still have to manually input all positions and might die in-game while interacting with it. Also none use it once you know the basics for Bingo. it is easier to do bingo yourself rather than doing on bingo-helper.
A GREAT MANY more people used bingo helper, and “the risk involved with tabbing out/going to your other monitor to input it yourself” isnt a skill difference.
What you are describing is the skill curve of learning what a mechanic is and when its happening, and then using some sort of cheat sheet/helper to help you memorize the fight.
There aren’t any elitist points being earned just by having a guide/cheat sheet to the fight open during prog. They aren’t any better than someone who has lost arks version of DBM. The difference is did you use those aids to actually memorize the fight, or are you relying on them for all of your clears?
Unless you’re a blind prog enjoyer no one cares.
This is something we’d actually need an official statement for since none of our opinions or views matters. It’d be really nice to know since it’s basically a “pen and paper” thing that usually doesn’t go within the realm of bannable things
