Unfortunate response, was hoping for something that would allow be to just close my browser and still see bar mechanics on 1 screen instead of having to look at multiple monitors and getting a bit distracted. Oh well I guess

This is just an Overlay. Its like I watching an image in browser while playing. Its the very same thing.
+EAC cant tell if you are using it or not and of course AGS or Smilegate cant tell if you use it. So yeah, this is allowed to use just like in any other game.
And as others said, Steam overlay is not allowed? Its the same.

Windows 10 has “xbox game bar” overlay by windows+g, this is also bad now? I think it is also default turned on.
I think what AGS wants to prohibit is not the overlay itself but the information it provides. I don’t think it’s a problem though, it’ll help a lot of players in the raid. It’s a bit ironic because people look at cheat sheet on the other screen or alt tab it. It’s still nonsense if they think cheat sheet is “cheating”. @Roxx Clarification please? :c
Of course they’re going to say anything 3rd party like this isn’t officially OK. That doesnt mean its detectable. It’s like asking the EPA if I can modify my vehicles emissions, they’re going to say no, but im still sending it. Use it and you assume the risks, regardless of the outcome.

Yeah I don’t really see anything in the ToS regarding this sort of thing besides this bit:
Technically the bottom bit about AGS reserving the right to determine what does and does not constitute unfair advantage, using an overlay to have a cheat sheet on the same screen or get a little notification of when mechanics are coming up hardly seems like something that should fall into this category. As other people have mentioned, people pull up cheat sheets on second monitors all the time, I doubt using a cheat sheet is bannable.

Lmao this isn’t even close to being similar to a DPS meter. Gold River prohibits DPS meter because he believes that the cons outweigh the pros. What are the cons to having a little overlay that helps people with raids when they don’t have the content memorized yet? If anything all it does is make raid experiences better because it’s more likely people will know what they need to do for wipe mechanics.

DPS meters are pulling data from the game that is not available otherwise. Completely different.
All this does is put guides to fights on your screen. Which you can already do anyways if you have a second monitor.

Stop trying to hijack the thread. You have already received the final word on DPS meters from both SGR and AGS. It will never be permitted.
Then this shouldn’t be permitted either. Pick one or the other stop trying to make one ok and the other not.
No, this program is not allowed. The CM already answered and said running this overlay is against TOS. What are you still arguing about when it is clearly answered?
