I have no use for a smart phone so i only have a simple flip phone that doesn’t support the authenticator. What are people in my situation suppose to do if we end up needing it since e-mail authentication isn’t included ?

I understand that you don’t have access to the Steam Mobile Authenticator App. Unfortunately, at the time, that is the only way to access the Mobile authenticator. You can learn more about it here:

you can try an android emulator, bluestacks/memu/nox and grab the autenticator?
Looking at the official reply on the matter it looks like I’ll have to give that a try. Thanks for the suggestion

I understand, I’m very sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. Unfortunately, I would rather not recommend any possible solutions that are not officially supported, such as an emulator, as this may cause some unexpected issues itself. If you have access to a tablet that supports android, you may also use the authenticator there.
