Don’t know why they aren’t running the banner like they have for other maintenances and important info.
Well it did take three attempts to fix the DST problem. So maybe I shouldn’t be so surprised they cock up their own update.
TBF on DST they never had to deal with it before.
RU, JP, and KR don’t have DST.
With these guys, one cannot have enough maintenance. And, of course, no compensation for a bit of paid Crystalline Aura lost during unplanned maintenance. Is this the new norm?

Sorry mate, that’s piss poor excuse. AGS were perfectly aware of DST. It’s inconceivable that no one from AGS thought ahead of time DST could be a problem.
AGS isn’t developing the game SGR probably though their fix would work, when it didn’t they tried again and got the server clocks right but the timers were off, second time they buggered everything, third time they fixed it.
It’s not easy to shoehorn something as major as dst into something that never had it.

I had briefly considered buying Crystalline Aura, but I’m now disinclined to give AGS money for their incompetence, lack of transparency and lack of communication. Love the game, hate the publisher.

Their only goal was to milk the whales, why worry about DST that happened nearly two months after the release.
You don’t have to pay real money for it - buy it with crystals you purchase with gold (doesn’t even have to be every month, just when you need it most). CA does provide some QoL features you can easily get addicted to, like repairing your equipment in dungeons.
I only mentioned the DST debacle as an example.
If AGS ever get their shit together with a regular, reliable maintenance schedule I may reconsider.

I mean to be fair Crystalline Aura based on the current exchange rate in at least NA East which is roughly 95gems:around 360-420 gold, 420 gems for 1 month of CA roughly translates to 1.6k-18.k gold per month which is really not that much for anyone currently in T3 zone.
If only the game had been running well already for 3 years elsewhere…oh nm

AGS does normal scheduled maintenance to apply the patch
Something is wrong in the patch SGR gave them so they give them a way to fix it

Actually, on contrary, CA saves you alot of silver. By reducing ocean liner by half the cost and providing you 2 extra bifrost teleports that cost only 1k silver each on use.
So depending on how often you travel, especially long distances, CA is a big silver saver.
Also as I said with current conversion rates, the amount of gold use is covered easily by 1 week of una token boxes and have some left over.
So if anything CA, for at least people in late T2/T3 zone should invest on it.
not to mention the other benefits it provides.
P.S. Of course this is only most beneficial for people who play on a regular basis, Players who play less will get less returns as they dont reap the benefits as much as regulars. So if you play this game only once in a while or 2 days per week, its really not worth the gold I guess
I think it is intentional since ingame it also still says CET. Meaning they are giving the devs the wrong timezone to fix.
I mean they could test their patches. If anyone had tested their recent patches even a little they would notice the clock issues still present, pvp ranks being different than advertised really a lot of these issues could be solved by a bit of testing.
