I would like to share with you some observations from the almost non-stop grind of the brelshaza hard/normal raid for the past two weeks.
Old concept, new era:
The history of Brel in KR is very interesting, when the raid was done in such a way that you had to kill gates two at a time G1-G2, G3-G4 and G5-G6. Although this process would not go through today, it would solve many problems. The problem is the spread of players to many gates. It happened not only to me that I was locked on a certain gate and at one point I had characters cut on literally all gates from 1-6 hard. It is not entirely easy to clean it up, thanks to the fact that there are not so many players and they are spread out everywhere.
I liked the idea from the creator of Memorizer92, who talked about reducing the number of gates to maybe 3 as another legion raid. A problem that may not be visible yet, but with less players and more new players I think it will definitely happen.
Stop damage=stop players:
I don’t want to talk about the difficulty of raids here, but I definitely want to mention here the worst mechanic from the game and that is the mechanic on the kakul G3 or Brel G6 and that is the stop damage mechanic. Players with high damage are rewarded in these raids by walking around for a minute and waiting for the mechanic. I don’t think it’s something that should be in the game, and especially on brel normal, to unnecessarily delay an already long raid.
Remove/rework most useful button in game:
MATCHMAKING
The most useless button in the game, tell yourself when was the last time you used it, only maybe guardian raid, chaos dungeons, especially the old ones don’t go through it and certainly not legion raids. For me, a useless thing, but one that has a huge potential to get it right.
My idea is to redesign the matchmaking button with more options. When you choose matchmaking, you will be able to choose if you want learning, after the first kill you will be able to reclear, after 10 kills 10x reclear, or you will be able to choose 1500+, Bus, etc. At the same time, set support in each party.
Another option is to change the button to a free agent, where you would offer yourself to already created groups and your character would be offered to the leaders in the groups.
I think it could help with gatekeeping and finding raid kill groups. I would be interested in your opinion on this.
It’s clear to me that like all this it will end up in the abyss of history here on the forum and it will never be taken into consider, but I like to think about things like this, what potential the game has and will never use it.
