Bots are never going away (as AGS will never implement a verification system or have manual server mods), so we’re just going to have to learn to accept them at this point.

That’s putting it mildly. It’s hyperinflating as of the last few days like back when they were printing money with rapport. They must have found another way, maybe they’re getting it from masterpieces now.

This is really funny to me, because Brazilian players have been fighting and crying out very loudly for it to happen. They insisted that they had the player numbers, they said they had the spending numbers to justify it. I wonder what happened? Or is the loud minority that much louder in Brazil than in NA/EU? Those who remain are probably playing on NA, like most of them there said would happen.

Interesting that, when you go to Find Party option when going for raids,abyss etc. Bots are even there. They advert using Find Party section 24/7. Like, you would think they would at least ban those ones.

I see it every single day while doing my adventure tome stuff.
I actually recorded a little of the alt accounts bot farming-spamming rapport
I myself am working on Sasha, so Ive been there turning in rapport the past couple of days.
This has been non stop with these same characters, you can sit here for 8 hours and they are still at it.
I dont know how they aren’t hitting rapport cap?

In addition to all these bots, we have people running automated scripts at punika. Are they even getting banned?

Bots have been back for weeks. Check out all the fishing spots or just watch for the bunny pet.

I instantly assume someone’s a bot if they’re running around with the starter bunny pet at this point.

I’ve been doing Sasha rep on my server and see the exact same behaviour. I stood and reported some but honestly I could have been there all day and they would just keep coming. Reporting them feels like trying to hold back a tsunami with a toothpick. My fear is that they’ll “fix” it by nerfing the gold rewards, which they did with other rapports already. And having worked on that rep the proper way I would not be impressed to see my efforts punished because AGS can’t deal with these damn bots.

I agree completely.
They should make their “fixes” a “going forward” thing, so that doesn’t affect those of us who actually grind out the game thus far.

I saw a video a couple of weeks ago about “AFK scripts” and the controversy as to whether they are (or should they be) allowed and does it go against the game’s TOS.
A bunch of malarkey tbh.
They should just play the darn game, grind it out, feel the pain, feel the burn.

Sure about that? Im pretty sure they can just use attack speed and no cd hack to melt any of us down.

They been back since the day after they were banned. I did some completion of the adventure tome in lower level zones the next day after the huge bot ban and those zones were like a bot super highway. All skipping around the map, following the same exact path, and the same exact time between each character from one place to the other. They never really left, they were just starting over

This rage against whales is very funny. Whales are out of discussion here, they are just few and have minimum influenco on the game. This is all about “whales” that spent $5 or $10 to buy gold from bots.

Highly unlikely. Bots do work perfectly, EAC doesnt and never did.
On the other hand author(s) of botting tools apparently know much more about this game than AGS. I’m not sure if more than Smilegate too.
