This issue might be very minor compared to the more pressing ones encountered by various players and the server right now but, can we please have an option to lower mount sound?
The hoverboard, to be exact, has a very loud noise when you mount and travel with it. It would be great if we could reduce that noise because it’s very loud and grating to the ears.
Yeah, other than turning down SFX, you can also adjust it by “other” means if you know where to find the sound file…

+1 on this. Its a really cool mount but it drowns out all the sound from everything around you. Almost overbearing. Please reduce the effect volume on this mount.
It’s unusable. It’s literally louder than anything else on the screen when you’re moving. Please turn it down by at least 50%
The volume isn’t matched. It drowns out everything else. It’s far too loud with headphones. Activating booster is uncomfortably loud.
The only way I can explain it, is that Smilegate accidentally delivered the “raw” sound file instead of the normalized one.
This thread needs to be bumped, it’s great that it’s free, but kills the sound of everything around the hoverboard lol.
Thought I was becoming an old fart but I almost muted the game after getting on that mount. It doesn’t seem right how loud it is

im also agreed on this, this mount is way to loud, i wish the sound settings had an option to lower some more specific settings other than just SFX so we can lower mount audio

yes please, i love the hoverboard but hate the sound design of it and its way too loud on top of that.
edit: in hindsight it might be annoying on purpose to incentivice us to get other ones.

Literally googled to try and find a way to mute the sound for it. Way too loud and had to switch to another mount in the end.
I would not complain if there were a way to lower pet and mount sounds… The cat mount meows ever 3 seconds it seems like.
Well, I saw this mentioned before and I hope the DEVs fixes it. But, for teaching purposes, the .wem sounds (which is usually created by Audiokinetic’s Wwise Suite) are located in:
%Steam%\steamapps\common\Lost Ark\EFGame\ReleasePC\WwiseAudio folder.
If a person were to manipulate the sound or just add a blank .wem file, you can convert the file(s) to .ogg, find the one specific to the hoverboard and create a blank or edited .wem file. Now, again…don’t get me wrong. I’m not telling you to go and do it. This is just for an insight. You should wait to see if the DEVs will fix the issue.
Tried that, but just getting parse errors due to missing RIFFs while trying to convert to .ogg. I’m a complete newbie though, so might be doing something wrong, any further insight maybe?
