This is multiboxing and it is not allowed. 3rd party program it is needed to input the broadcast. It is important for everyone actual and future players to know what they CAN and what they CAN’T do in LA.
Can you please clarify that this explicitly violates some rule and isn’t just a ‘suggestion’ from you? Since it’s not mentioned in the TOS at all and ‘should not’ != ‘forbidden’. Thank you.
Would like to know before launch so I can refund Founders on alts.
To be clear, I’m seeking to play 3 accounts total on 3 Steam accounts, all from 1 computer but only ever 1 at a time. The materials gathered on the 2 alts to be funneled to my main account.
I play games 16-18 hours a day, assuming we have the same 15 character cap as the Beta, it’s not enough.
If it’s a concern over character slots not being purchased, I’d be happy to only work on alt accounts when I’ve maxed out on my main server’s slots.

While I would not advise anyone to spend time on 3 accounts for physical and mental health reasons. From practical point of view, Amazon’s legal (Legal | Lost Ark - Free to Play MMO Action RPG) for LA does not forbid ownership of multiple accounts.
Sales page even notifies people that they can buy same founder’s package 3 times. And does not specify any limitations with this purchase. As such it would be within logical reasoning that it is meant for personal use of owner.
I certainly didn’t need to jump through any hoops to buy Founders for my alts and it certainly doesn’t violate the TOS for Steam nor Amazon, which is why I was so concerned about what
Megami said. Perhaps it’s copium, but I don’t believe Amazon would let me purchase Founders for my alts only to never let allow me to play them.
They have seen it though, so I assume we’ll have an answer soon. <3

Considering you play video games 16-18 hours a day, you must be a NEET. How are you able to NEET? Are your parents rich? Asking because I’m also a NEET, I used to play LA for ~14-15 hours a day in RU (for 3-4 months).

he is not using software he is using a keyboard mouse synchronizer. usbs come off the back and plug into multiple computers and in the front u plug mouse and keyboard up to it and ur controlling 4 computers with a hardware device… no software is being used

u need multiple computers and this is played buy a person a person needs to be at the desk in order to play the charcters… i want pple to understand there is no software. this is done with manual key presses don by a person… there wont be many boxers in this game since u need multiple computers and u can only run 1 client per computer because of the anti-cheat

Uhh, how should I handle the refunds on the accounts? I’ve mailed my main what’s tradable from the founders packs, should I send it back before refunding them?
Also two different things are being discussed, can you clarify which issue you were answering:
Can we box?
Can we have multiple accounts we play 1 at a time with?
Is the answer from “higher ups” ‘no’ to both or just the boxing?

Using hardware to run multiple accounts at the exact same time is the same as using a program to cheat using multiple accounts at the exact same time.
No matter how you spin it, it’s still cheating. Unless each account is played with no assistance from program or hardware.

Curious, never really looked into multiboxing before.
Please don’t consider multiboxing to equal cheating. From what I read there are games where it’s clearly allowed, even though the idea is probably always some kind of advantage. If it’s allowed in some games it’s not categorically cheating.
In a F2P game like this, where you can farm stuff much faster with several (main accouts), it’s fairly logical to be not allowed.

Multi-boxing with the assistance of programs and or hardware is cheating no matter how you look at it. Some games allow it for different types of reasons and restrictions, like the way that I play 2 accounts at the same time. I use two accounts, two computers, two monitors, 2 keyboards and two trackball’s (Mice). That is perfectly fine as there isn’t much if any advantage switching between the two devices. This type is normally allowed in most games, but the use of programs and or hardware to simultaneously play all accounts with one keyboard and mouse is normally not allowed.
they are two diffrent things in there tos sofware is not allowed it doesnt say hardware isnt allowed. they are completely diffrent things one uses a software that runs on the computer and one is hardware that that runs outs side the computer and its not a software
there are way more bots in this game than multiboxers. and also pvp sucks as a multiboxer so they will only be doing pve content and does that really hurt this game…i dont think so and if u say it hurts the econemy it doesnt because u need multiple computers to play this game. id say bots are hurting it more than multiboxers would
