My account was banned in July last year, and I have been appealing for 8 months. My region is US West and my ID is Efdasw and I’m sure I didn’t violate the code of conduct, but my steam account was hacked. The thief accessed my account in June and July. When I tried to play, my account was permanently banned, I had a log in to steam, and I gave my story to the moderation team. Their response was that I didn’t have enough evidence and I didn’t know what to do. I came to ask for help

I’ve actually been appealing for almost eight months. And it doesn’t really help. The people on the review team are like the robots in the game. Copy and paste to get back to us,
Were u hacked while having 2FA ? if so, there might be a chance to get it back but if not, there wont be any way you’ll be unbanned.
I saw a other post that was kinda similiar and they told him to always use 2FA.
And i know there is no way to prove if you actually been hacked or u just gave away ur information but nonetheless there wont be any hope for you i think

I’m sorry to hear about this situation with your account, now in case you are not aware of here in the forums none of the moderators have access to any information regarding bans so unfortunately we can’t help you.
I can see that you are already familiar with the appeal process since I can see that you have sent appeals before as you mention, but I must insist that unfortunately here in the forums there is nothing we can do and that the appeals team is the only team with information and tools to override or uphold the ban.
