My biggest concern

I wish there was a way to rate people in the game based on your interactions. And it would be shown on their character profile. It could help with filtering out toxic ppl from parties. But at the same time the feature would be abused by toxic ppl.

wtf is this thread even about, ive read it like 3 times still dont get what you want.

Read it again then. I’m asking for respect between players in game.

Consider trying to find a guild with people of a similar mind-set.

sadly op on the enter webs you will meet both nice people and arsehole at the same time.
It is taxing on mental but also something you will have to learn to walk away from
If someone you play with be that a group of people or a friend is making you feel that way then leave that situation
Lots of people keep only a tight net of friends just for this reason
I’m sorry, if someone else was rude to you
Good luck on your future adventures

That’s what my thread is about. Why is it so hard to turn down on the toxicity as a whole, as a community?

I dont really have too many bad experiences tbh. There were some individuals that i remember like 2 months ago when the game was fresh. They were something else ill tell ya what.

But now in valtan the raids are longer and takes longer when you have to wipe. But for some reason i havent experienced any toxicity outside of week 1. People seem to be more understanding when you screw up, like to joke around and overall my past few clears have been a really fun experience.

I play alot of lol, the most toxic ppl are the ones who think theyre good (silver/gold). While the ones who are actually good (plat diamond etc) are usually alot more laid back. Just from my experience tho.

Moonmagiks on adrinne is always looking for new ppl if you’re interested in re rolling lol

You want to forcibly transform people into some sort of positivity caricatures.
That’s simply impossible.

Thought this was a real post til he said he was a girl. You got me dude! XD

In all seriousness, I’d bet that most of the casual & friendly people left this game already. I wouldn’t know though, just judging based on the forums

No. I am just speaking up as a person who has experienced an overwhelmingly positive community in the past. I know that’s impossible in Lost Ark. But maybe my experience here, and my suggestion could open up someone’s heart for maybe even just elementary manners

I feel this incredible itch to be quite rude towards you.

I don’t think you are accomplishing exactly what you think you are xD

Sadge

if we were to make an analogy, this is literally you asking for world peace.

Some people just want to see the world burn, and there’s nothing much you can do in the short term, unluckily.

Either accept the people for what they are or simply walk away from them (which is better imo), as Drudia said.

My gf used to play acnh a lot and also trading like you did, and she had bad experiences too

I also was a part of the IG Animal Crossing communities, not a bit of toxicity. If you were toxic, you were called out and kicked out. There was only one account I knew of, she even contacted me. Dodged a bullet by not responding by all the posts made about her and how she would tell people to kill themselves for no reason. But other than that, only love.

that’s literally the answer you were looking for, I think. A-holes are literally around every corner, you just need to get better at dodging them!

Respect??? KEKW. That’s so 1960s. You will never find respect in the internet. Unless you’re playing with IRL friends.

What I was saying that those toxic people didn’t exist because they weren’t backed up which unfortunately isn’t the case for Lost Ark in many situations.

lmao

This is a fight you will lose every time, sadly.

Masses of people will always behave in idiotic ways. Ignorance has always spread like wildfire. It’s been like this since forever. And now people have the luxury of hiding their identity through a screen and you expect decency? Only expect it from yourself.
