My character has been pending deletion for a week now

Last week, I tried to delete one of my characters that I was just playing around with. I clicked on delete and it went through its process and it said pending deletion. I waited a few days and it stayed pending, so I clicked on cancel and tried again. Although I had to wait a while before I could try again. Once it came available, I went through the process again, and it has been pending deletion since Sunday now.

Please delete it.

I recently experienced the same thing. On a lark, I tried selecting the character and choosing delete again only to discover that doing so was part of the process. I guess it’s intended as a final “Are you sure you want to do this?” confirmation.

There’s room to improve the UI in this regard.
