So, I’ve just finished my Una’s Task for the Tragon. I was really happy. Got the blueprint, sailed to the merchant’s vessel, only to find out I have to pay 5000 Screptum’s Coins for the Anchor! Oh, I have only 800 and if I open all my HSC Chests I will only have around 4k.
Are you nuts guys?! Who the hell put a totally unnecessary gatekeeping mechanism at the end of a quest?! I swear I’ve never seen this kind of bullshitery in any videogame! At least you should INFORM THE PLAYERS, that they will need this/that to finish a quest! So, all of my grind was for literally nothing! THANKS!

Listen if you only have that many chests left that means you opened a bunch of chests and got pirate coins or bought crew members. Thats on you i have over 100 100x coin unopened chests and over 20 unopened 500x chests still because i didnt waste them

Things to spend coins on are…giants hearts, omnium stars, masterpieces, song of starlight. Everything else is currently unnecessary to improve your character
u can earn those 100x coin chest and priate coins from adventure islands. I never exchange coins for pirate coins unless i have used up every coin to buy all the stuff that uses that coin
i’ve had that quest for a month and decided i don’t really need it anyways so i still have the quest and enough boxes for 15k coins if i so decide. Eh in the end you won’t use that ship so it doesnt matter get yourself an eurus or astray
Just wait a few hours for the weekly reset and buy the sea coin chests from the event. You will have enough.

Haha this same thing happened to me a few days ago, except I have less than 2k Sceptrum coins and no chest’s left. I feel for ya!

Caught me off guard too. Luckily it’s the only ship you need to pay coins for.
Astray has costs ofc but they’re upfront.

Well, Astray is very costly after as well. Crew is pricier and upgrades are pricier too!
