First time doing it and ended up getting lost. I was following groups of people until they all split up and I ended up following the wrong people and I ended up losing them when they turn back so, in the end, I got lost and did not get a chance to contribute so no rewards.
This is definitely my most hated island by far at this moment. Maybe that will change once I get to do it again tomorrow, hopefully, I do not get lost again the next time I open a guide with the map.

Unknown Island is not big, the routes to the boss are easy to follow, yes you can go the wrong way but not for long. Easy to catch up as there are constant barricades along the way. If you need a guide to do it I think many other things in the game may be beyond you. Do it like a maze u don’t know, keep the jungle to your left and you will get to where u need to be. Join a party, follow your team mates, after a while it will become easy for you.
A guide will be useless as the boss location is random from about 6 diff spots I think, how will you know what location means what route?
Not meaning any offence to the OP but this is a really lame thread that never needed to be.
If you need a guide to do it I think many other things in the game may be beyond you.
People use guides all the time especially when recommended to look them up for guardian raids and abyssal dungeons to understand mechanics before doing them. Just because it is this one thing doesn’t mean other contents are beyond me.

I would suggest it does. I have done it with many new to the island, follow us was all I said, they managed just fine. There is much harder content than this in the game. You are complaining about something easy that takes a minimum of intelligence to figure out, cant wait until you do metus islands.

Check that. There are 4 possible spawn locations for the boss, and there’s usually 3 different paths to reach that (marked in different colors). Only 1 of the paths will be open in each instance of the island, so you have to find the one that is right to reach the spawn location that you got.
Just run around the walls until you find a path that’s not the one you came from.
In what way am I complaining? It was suppose to be a non-serious fun thread. Probably lame from your perspective, but this is a forum where we can discuss about the game.
Whether it is easy or not, maybe you or others have one island you or they dislike or maybe not at all. Like I said before, once I do it again properly, maybe I will like the island.
Don’t worry, you won’t hear me say anything about Metus Island, I will just do it no matter how many times I fail.
Maybe I should have approach the thread differently like “What is one island you dislike and why” etc but anyways, i just want to speak my mind.
