Let’s be real for a min, what would stop them to make the same “mistake” again ? I mean, the only viable way to gain pheon is by the cash shop ever it is your money or the money from another gamer. they can’t be create out of in-game farming, they already have some fingers in your wallet to “help” you reach your card
If you take one step back from this, the double official statement and what happened with the purple engraving a day after… how do you describe this whole thing ?

And blue crystals can be purchased with gold?
Who says you can only buy pheons with cash?
Gold = in-game farming no?
Blue crystals exist because someone paid cash for royal crystals and traded them for gold. You can’t purchase them for gold, only trade for them. Pheons are bought with cash.
Your blue crystals came from gold sure… but he’s saying ALL blue crystals came from royal crystals which came from $$$. Which is true, blue crystals exist because of royal crystals. If nobody swipes royal crystals there won’t be any blue crystals.
There’s a few exceptions with getting like 50 blue crystals from roster level up and other miniscule things.
The main point is AGS loss all “ trust” , Pheon same with money. If you open the Virtual banking account and save the money , but next day you found save amount are negative . Could you accept ? virtual bank none of service charge , is “free” and they always give you supermarket voucher ,could you trust the bank ?
If this happened to the bank, it would be a criminal case to be reviewed by the Commercial Crime Bureau.
Honestly AGS did not lose anything. I guarantee you 99% of the people who are complaining about it still are playing. Its easy for everyone to type that they are upset yet what did they do about it? It would be a bigger statement to not play than to try and get AGS to admit on the forums that they did something wrong. Unfortunately just like everything else in a week time it will be forgotten and everything will be back to normal…
In the business world what is mostly expensive? there should be “ Trust “. Maybe most of people still good feel to AGS , but I will change my mind with Lost ark . Just a Free game don’t ask me spend on any money , although the game dead or alive
atm i as F2P player that has never bought pheons with blue crystals - have 410 pheons,
And this is after i spent around 450 to gear my main and alts.
Tho i have never bought tripods from the AH, only accessories
they interpret it that it’s still p2w as someone payed for it with $$
BC are created when someone buys RC
so for you to buy BCs someone has to buy RCs
so for you buy pheons someone has to put $ into the game
so you buying pheons means you put $ into the game
but
even though this is true
TRADING with someone who puts $$ into the game =/= YOU putting $$ into the game
Pheons are there to incentivise people to buy BCs
they can easily remove pheons make MARI better and the incentive remains without burdening people with a currency that requires you to go through a calculator and convert it 5 times to get 1 acceesory or stone or tripod
it’s a stupid system made to prevent market flipping and market fixing
it is efficient at it but it makes no sense on things like stones
they can also remove the pheon cost on accessories and tripods that you can’t resell (so last purchase items don’t have pheons on them since you can’t flip them)
but that would require effort on SGs side that i doubt they will prioritize soon
Imagine thinking all of you are perfect and never made a mistake in your life. Get over it. You got your 60 pheons back instead of the only intended 10 pheons. You should be happy that you got an extra 50 pheons instead of only 10 pheons.
