Most of the time when I launch the game, I get the Region Unavailable message for NA East. When you go to the Server Status page on the official site, however, the servers are up. I can access other regions, but I’ve noticed that it’s hit or miss with them as well.
Today it started launching to the South America region for some reason. Now, it’s launching to EU West. It’s extremely frustrating that I can’t access NA East, where my characters are, and even MORE frustrating that I have to restart the game to switch regions, only to receive the same message again.
Edit: I was finally able to get in, but this is a recurring issue
Ok after over an hour of trying everything I found on google I finally reconnected to US East and was able to log in my char. No idea if anything I did worked or was just the 14 restarts I did that worked.
Last thing I tried was going into steam settings download region and changing it from Saint Louis to NY. Not sure why that setting would change anything when Ive already played 150 hours on US East and havent run into this issue and didn’t think it would work but was running out of things to try.
