Is there ANY way around this? one would think it would be tied to your account, or at least remove the limitation if customers are buying name changes via the store?
I want to boost an alt, and switch the names around with my main - so it can become my new main.
why is this even a thing?
There seems to be a way around it, but it requires you to buy a name change and use it on the original character with the name you want to use.
This post describes it, though it’s a fairly straightforward method. I just wish we didn’t have to do stupid crap like this because of the company’s crap decision-making.
