No, the result of the una was never the devs intention, because it could screw people going for the soul or the secret map.
Furthermore every 5 leapstones una has a little downside in comparison to the 4 stones ones. Besides being time gated this una was way too easy and quick for it’s rewards
i also like the new version much more as the island takes much less time to complete now and screwing over new players or those who are unlucky and still haven’t gotten the secret map or island soul yet isn’t very fair. the island takes like 1min to do when everyone doesn’t leave, just do it normally.
As I predicted in another post about this potential change, we’ll get some people crying about it who are used to powering many alts through in almost no time. But it’s a good change and those people will just have to deal. A loophole that allowed stupidly fast leapstone generation, while at the same time screwing newer players, has been fixed. About time.
this change makes complete sense, stfu.
Alakkir nerf probably a better play than buffing hypno’s or kalthertz; now I can peacefully ignore them in favor of 4 leapstone dailies.
I understand the frustration here, yet want to offer the silver lining that forcing ourselves to put up with these painful dailies for leapstones was never healthy, and if you continue min/maxing them, you have my respect and 3 more leapstones/day
we are all gonna do a 4 great honor leapstone una rather than kill the Gold bird
so new ppl are fuck no mather what
This is one of the positives changes they made. And I normally don’t like the game, the studio and the publisher. Yes old Una was fast and quick and people could do it with several chars but this one is fair to everyone and ensures this island can be made for as long as you need this leapstones.
Nah, now when an island spawns, the people who enter will stay and actually kill the boss. It doesn’t matter if 90% of the people running the island don’t ever come back. There will still be enough in a single map to kill the boss rather than 28 selfish people who leave without touching the boss.
No, we want you to have to help us kill the boss.
Thanks for coming to the island!
oh no, 5 minutes… that’s only 1 leapstone per minute worth of mats. absurd!
you don’t seem to understand why this isn’t true so i’ll try to explain it.
how instancing works on these islands is it will fill up 20-30 slots depending on the island, then after that instance is full no new people can join it no matter what they get thrown into a new instance instead. when a player leaves their spot doesn’t get filled as the next player that joins still gets thrown in the newer instance.
so now say instead of 5 people doing it each instance across 15 instances it’ll be 20 people doing it each instance with 4 instances.
Better ruin the daily than remove the normalisation ![]()
Oh wow. I made a post asking about this island and now it’s changed?
Exactly.
That logic would then apply to every island. So I’m supposed to keep going to Spida and Erasmo even though I have the stuff from there?
Okay so then the better solution would be to make it a 4 leapstone dailly so less people are running it for the wrong reason and make a different daily 5 leapstones instead.
How is it stupidly fast leapstone generation? So your issue is leapstones being accessible through una’s period?
You don’t have to be rude.
I do see what you mean about people filling up the instance, with it being mixed with people coming there for differing reasons and then being left behind with nobody else there. So I guess that extra leapstone is your reward for spending 5 minutes to help newbies/unluckies out?
Well the issue isn’t just the five minutes, if it had always been this way then that is the way it would be and that would be that. It takes 30 times longer than it did before and it was already inconveniencing previously because of it being a timed island. So it isn’t just five minutes. It’s making sure you’re there on time, not doing anything surrounding the time the island spawns, setting timers. I think the better solution would have been to make it 4 leapstones and make a different Una give five so it still solves the problem of the instances of the island being empty but doesn’t make somebody trying to min max further inconvenienced.
