New account on North America East Region, Shop currency shows euros instead of USD

I’m a US player and made a character in North America East Region. I wanted to purchase items in the shop but the currency is in EURO…and it should be USD.

Is this a bug? Is there any way I can fix this? Is it a steam issue? I googled and kept running into a wall.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

For this issue, I recommend checking on following 2 things-

  1. In steam app /browser>Account>Account details>STORE & PURCHASE HISTORY>Country should reflect correct.

  2. Please disconnect to VPN if connected.

Thank you for replying.

I should have mentioned that in my store & purchase history, the country is United States and I am currently not connected to VPN. I also tried logging in using another computer and still has the same issue.

For some reason logging in today, the shop reflects the correct currency! I think it may be due to me clearing the caches in Steam.
