I first wanna say I love the new map. However, sadly, it seems a little laggy for me. Like 15-20 fps looking around on it and it kinda hurts my eyes.

Yes it’s driving me crazy too. It seems like it runs at 30fps rather than your own framerate which causes a lot of stuttering.
The same issue can be seem with skin previews when viewing them on chests or the market. When you view the skin preview on the cash shop it’s full framerate and a huge difference.
Another way to understand the stuttering is to drag the map window itself to observe the expected, then scroll the map itself and see how it’s only 30fps.
