agreed, I was just live chatting with amazon support and they told me the only thing to get trusted is to spend money in game 
I hope this scam gets exposed. I know vast majority of the players are trusted and donât care but this is just ridiculous now.

Donât worry, we care, itâs just not much we can do.
Theyâll fix it soon. That wonât repair the dmg you suffered, but it will prevent further dmg in the future

I am afraid itâs already too late for this game to get influx of new players and it will just die with time. Thatâs why I am trying to raise awareness about this. I donât want to invest more time in the game when I see with my own eyes how they treat their players. I am disgusted.
Imagine being told: âdo that and wait 30 days and your problem will be solvedâ. So I did that, and after 30 days I get response: âwell actually itâs not 30 days anymore itâs 90 days now, we changed it for no reason.â So I am patiently waiting, then on day 70 I get told: âwell, actually itâs not 90 days anymore, you have to spend money nowâ. Absolutely pathetic.
If they told me on day 1 that I have to spend 10$ in game I would say okay no problem. But what me and other players like me (well 90% of them quit when they find about this scam) are experiencing is actually mindblowing.
So latest info: if you are new steam user you are forced to spend money in game to get trusted status in lost ark

Summary:
Few months ago we were told that we only have to be steam trusted and have mobile guard 2FA enabled and we will get trusted status in lost ark within 30 days.
They later changed it so we have to wait 90 days instead of 30 to get trusted status in lost ark (I posted a screenshot when I got this response last month).
Latest information is that we are forced to pay for royal crystals to get trusted status (information from live chat amazon support on March 30.)
Lost Ark mods in support section are useless, giving us false information and automatic useless responses.
I donât want to invest my time in the game that doesnât care about players, they are profiting off of bots because every bot pays 10$ to get trusted so they can do RMT.
The game is advertised as free to play but in reality itâs just trial version of the game until you spend 10$.
The main problem: new players should directly be told to spend 10$ to get trusted status, instead of that easy solution we are getting links to useless and false information about how to get trusted status. When new players are told the game is free and then they realize they have to spend the money they quit.

yes, when you spend money for anything in game you should get trusted within 72 hours, however there are several cases where people didnât get trusted status after that for weeks, even months.
I see you bought mokoko starter pack, that should be enough for you to get trusted. âShouldâ is the key word.

yes there are âsomeâ who have issues to get it after purchasing

Interpretation is always flexible. It is still classified as f2p, same as guild wars where they advertise that itâs f2p, and where a paid account gives you access to all content.
Also, when you played the game, you clicked accept on their terms and conditions (they wonât be liable for anything they write, such as accuracy of their statements etc)
However, I do agree that having difficulties with new steam users is a major issue. But the chance of lost ark being a users â1st gameâ will put them in the minority Iâm guessing. Spenders usually would have paid for multiple games and new users usually refrain from spending, so Iâm guessing new user population might not be high on their priority list (especially with little investment where people can just use hacks and botting programs).
That is true, but when you go see guild wars 2 you can easily find information what you can and canât do as free account, and you are told to buy the game (or whatever you have to buy, I donât play gw 2)
But when you go to lost ark, itâs stated that itâs free to play, support page says you donât have to spend any money to access all of itâs features, there is no accurate information on what you have to do to get trusted, when will you get trusted and how exactly do you get trusted, itâs just a mess.
Not to mention all the lies I received from them in the last 2 months that you can see in screenshots I posted + how many times they changed information and provided false information about this matter because they themselves donât know how exactly the system works.

Their PR is not organized and communication is lacking. If you remember the Lost Ark stream about the âassassin mageâ xD Many (if not most) of AGS team handling lost ark donât even play the game. Much different attitude compared to like FF14 (subscription though).
