Considering Lost Ark servers are dedicated to the west. I think It would be a good idea to restrict area chat, whisper chat, normal chat only to verified accounts. Which requires the player to link their account to a phone number from the EU or NA region. Players will also earn a reward for verifying their accounts.
I’ve seen similar systems in other free-to-play MMORPG games. Wondering why it hasn’t been implemented in Lost Ark yet.
