Well, itâs a free game, so this is just bound to happen. I assume all of these bots will be detected just as easily as the first wave. It is a shame about the gold spam, though, but it can be hard to solve those problems without impacting legitimate users too.
So⌠how long until AGS step up and Permaban those botters / gold sellers?
Thereâs also cheater who use speed hack / other illegal sofware this one probably harder to track but still possible.
Please donât tell me itâs just all talk and no action!

As a new player Iâd just quit instantly if I see bots speedhacking and spamming the chat. This is just sad that the producers donât care about this topic as much as they should.

AGS lied or is incomopetent. They said huge ban wave on 4th march. Today is 5th march and bots are STILL doing EXACTLY the same in Luterra Castle. I dont understand how on earth in the year 2022 an anti cheat system is not able to flag this behavior as botting. They all move and act the same.

We donât know how many accounts were banned and therefore itâs hard to say if they lied. The botting problem wonât suddenly stop over night and all we, as a community can do, is to report them and give that information to AGS.
Those people spam accounts, e-mail adresses and characters because they expect to be banned eventually. Thatâs probably the reason why it feels like that the ban wave did nothing.
As long as AGS is on the ball there to improve their systems and banning those accounts, it will get better over time. I, for myself, set a goal to report at least 10 obvious bots everyday on the server i am currently on.

1 Million accounts is a massive number, but to be fair it was also expected in a free to play setting.
exactly the same situation on Punika. I rolled a fresh toon here to play with friends and Iâm currently lvl 27, all I see is sorc and berserker bots with names like gsdfadsagdio running through walls, teleporting etc. impossible to report them all. standing at a questhub shows like 20-30 different bots, complete madness

They just throw some arbitrary number of â1,000,000 bots were bannedâ while the truth is literally infront of our eyes.
Playing at lower zones is a catastrophe and sadly i have to go there to do this tedious and boring rapport minigame garbage

Just wait until you get to the port. There are at least 50 bots running around inside the ship loading area on every channel.
what do you mean they dont care? they made a twitter post stating they banned 1 million bots.
I was in Lakebar earlier today and saw that there were over 180 channels in the zone. Of course, that also meant that I saw an absolitely massive amount of bots, as well. Quite literally an unending line of teleporting bots. I know theyâre supposedly working on it, but the bots really make no attempt to obfuscate the behavior. Is it really so hard to detect that?

Until they start banning players who use the bots service bots will always come back. These are replaceable, players with a ton of hours are not.
Ban the users, and the bots will leave after due to not having income. Theyâll just move to other games. Thatâs how they deal with this in KR and RU so idk why itâs not working here. To clarify it, altho they donât ban on first offense, they punish by removing the gold, and if they spent it, it makes the account go negative. On multiple uses they ban. Currently here you only get a 24h ban which makes it worth to use the bots

But 1 Million Bots banned (if it is true), while still having them all over the place, tells me that this is a huge issue!
There must be literally countless thousands of players, maybe even tens of thousands, who buy Gold!
On the day they banned there were none, queues were even fixed in bigger servers. They just come back really quickly. It takes 15h to get to lvl 50, a bot can do that in half the time due to the speedhacks and what not.
Yea I believe a lot of people are using the system. Why wouldnât they when thereâs almost no repercussions?

this is become a serious problem, and they make gathering for legitimate players very difficult and annoying to the point where I donât even want to bother gathering at all.
A verification system or something like what happens in KR like number verification or ID could work here, but that would mean they would have to make separate accounts from steam to play the game right? Hopefully the team can find a solution

Seems like some of them are using party chat to coordinate, saw 4 people with similar names all say the same 6 digits ar the exact same time. So while that might have just been a multiboxer, I reported them all the same
Arenât we having this anti cheat thingy in already, wich is taking the game to load for 5 years before it starts?
Thereâs different kinds of obvious behavior, theyre teleporting, using speedhacks, sometime they weirdly stand around, move for 2 steps turn and tp somewhere else. Arent GMs not a thing in games anymore? Shouldnât there be also people watching over the game, if at least the software isnât working?
You can literally put a trainee in the first region and let him only ban the gold sellers by hand and you wouldâve done a massive amount 
Reporting gets frustrating, i canât report 20 players per minute, i wanna play the game too. Like other commentators said, theres just so many in chat and walking around.
