Download the very latest driver, make sure you do a clean uninstall first, as AMD has a bug with 22.10.1 where it would crash the display on update/upgrade. From what I have seen and so far from my own experience 23.2.1 seems to be stable.

23.2.1 has been good for me with a lot of hours for about a week now.
Also, it looks like they released another driver today 23.2.2, for anyone who may be interested.

yeah I agree, 23.2.1 fixed freezing for me, I think it’s safe to say we can finally update from 22.5.1
I will update to 23.2.2 today probably
Haven’t seen any issues yet on 23.2.2 either (so far)

No, the 23.2.2 driver did NOT FIX the problem, after 1-2 hours my PC still Locks up

Had no Freeze or complete Client Shutdowns the last 3 Days…hopefully it will stay like that.
Check your graphics card firmware. Mine would freeze and black screen in lost ark prior to the driver issue, then they came out with newer firmware for the graphics card which fixed it.
It fixed nothing for me. It still crashes while playing on dx11. 6800xt latest driver 23.2.2

Crashes or freezes? The issue was a hard freeze.
I never had crashes, 23.2.2 fixed only hard freezing for me, so if you have crashes that’s something else
RX 6800 xt here. Looking at positive comments I decided to finally upgrade to 23.2.2 from 22.5.1 and although it looked promising for 2 days I just had a freeze that required me to hard restart pc… just like previous version. It’s definitely less frequent than 22.11.x for me but still happens. Never had this issue on 22.5.1 so it’s for sure driver related and not something else that’s causing this now.
Freeze means it crashes. You have to hard reset the pc. Windows restarts itself when this happens if restart is enabled. There must be a setting somewhere, I forgot where it is.
Freeze can be considered as crash, but if your PC crashes it’s not always freeze, in this particular thread most of us had hard freeze issue that has been solved by latest drivers (few people are still reporting freezing after latest drivers, but much less frequent than before). PC crash can involve various problems so it helps if the description is more detailed so someone might help.

I’m running with last drivers for AMD ( 23.2.2) with a Vega64 (gpu) and a ryzen 5 7600x (cpu)
My problem was dumb, but the crashes that you having were similar to mine so… Good luck hope AMD will find a solution soon

Installed 23.2.2 and worked fine today!! I’m playing without problems 
drivers 23.3.1 are out, worth a shot for anyone who still has problems
