a lot of lost ark veterans that played KR/RU before na/eu launch already switched back. Its such a shame dont know if eu/na gonna have a future if they handle stuff like rn (especially with the fact that every change they made regarding bots just hit the real players and bots are still joking on amazon)

lol i thought this was going to be a thread about how they are only going to release extremely gated content that most of the community has no access to. But yea, the class thing for people not maxing out is also an issue. They know alot of people are going to quit as the legion raid requirements get higher and higher and theres nothing else for anyone to do. Thats why theyre drip feeding the classes like this
the only other class im waiting for is artist, but since that only came in kr recently i don’t mind waiting a year for it, it gives me time to save gold and play my other characters

Artist is gonna be released on RU next month, and every other class is available there. Same with skins. I was playing on RU until the western region came out, but looking how little content they are relesing here, I’ll go back to RU for a while at least until Artist is released here.

Yeah, with the lack of supports at the game now its impossible to join a party for Argos and is gonna be worse for Valtan. Releasing more dps classes and having only 2 supports(wich both feels clunky to play) will make that problem worse. And with the insane honing system, whats the point of spending honing mats in a class u aren’t gonna play anyways? Whats the point to farm for a character until my class gets released here, knowing all the chars I’m playing now will be sitting only doing Lopang later? They need to release every unreleased class ASAP, or ppl would be quitting the game and community getting more toxic.

Didn’t Korea go 2 years with 2 supports? And they had the other classes like scouter, reaper etc. too, so they had even more dps ratio.

You’re living in a different game if you think artist will change the support issue. Everyone will still hold out for paladin or bards.

And look what happens in KR. Nobody plays newer classes cos they have invested ton of time and mats on the older ones and there is no point to play the new ones. If they want to prevent this happening here, they should release them ASAP.

Pretty much in the same boat.
Just gonna hoard mats, convert all my gold into blue crystals and play something else till the classes drop.
I’m stuck between converting my gold to crystals or keeping the gold for when grudge engravings drop

Have been waiting on Scouter since they confirmed that he was NOT coming to the NA region at launch. June / July will be a make or break road map for myself. With that said, Even if he DOES drop. I feel the pain for those people who are still waiting as I have been in this boat since launch. Its a demoralizing feeling. Honestly find it hard to log in these days. but Im trying to hold in there at least till June / July to see.
I have not, And will not push a character past 1340 (I lied, I have a 1345 zerker). I literally log in to do Chaos / Abyss for materials, Bank them and then log. I would love to be able to do Argos, Valtan, And any other raids that may drop before I see Scouter. Unfortunately, By choice, I will not be able to experience these raids till I am able to play Scouter.
I want to be able to invest into the game, But as it stands I do not enjoy any of the playable classes. I mained Scouter on Russia and have no intention of maining something “Temp”. Would be far to many materials, gold, time and energy wasted.
Possible Roadmap
June - Vykas, Bridge (T3 Tower), Kungellanium, Arcana or Reaper, Honing catchup T1/T2, Punika Powerpass
July - Kal Eligos, Scouter, Honing Buffs, Honing Catchup 1302-1370, Hyper Express 1390

im sure you not gonna miss out on anything by the time your class comes out coz there will be passes and other stuff to help you, maybe costumes, but lets be real the costumes so far are kinda ehh
The problem historically with games similar to lost ark is that if you lose someone for possibly months, they are far less likely to return.
Player retention should be the focus here.
Based on how many Korean mmorpgs have gone with the “start with old content/drip feed updates” route and failed, I think it would be better for lost ark to try and switch things up a bit (at least with classes)
League of legends makes a killing off of skins, as do many other free to play games. They are simply dropping the ball by drip feeding skins, especially with FOMO tied into them.
League has a robust selection of skins that you can always buy no matter when you start, seasonally released skins, rank related skins, anniversary skins, and more. Riot has easily cleared 1 billion in earnings each year since at least 2015.
I know you can’t compare the games 1:1 but it’s something to think about.
