Roxx, are you able to possibly elaborate as to why our region is unable to provide ample notice about these changes whereas other regions where able to do so? I honestly am having a very difficult time understanding as to why this is the case, so maybe if you can provide us as more in depth explanation as to what is exactly holding the team back from doing so, we can have a greater understanding, that would be appreciated.

Korea, Russia and Japan all got a one month advance notice not only when the update will happen, but also what exactly will happen.
Why is it that AGS cannot provide either of these things? Or did your team think that the single bullet point in the roadmap was enough?
The fact that the Tripod inventory will be removed and that Tripods on your gear arenât taken in consideration for the change are very important details that should have been shared with the community already. This is not something you merely announce 15 hours before the patch will drop.

Why isnât it possible for AGS or SG to release a proper official statement for players? This is one of the most important changes that affects every player. Itâs clear that AGS and or SG knew exactly when they wanted to roll out the update, why is it not important to share with the community when they can expect these very important changes?

Thatâs what I donât understand. In their roadmap, they said tripod changes would be âcoming soonâ, but they did not specify at all what that meant. In that announcement, they could have at least mentioned for players to start saving their tripods to prepare for the changes and more details would come soon.
It honestly feels like theyâre overly reliant on Korean streamers to provide the information to their own customers rather than them doing it themselves and that justâŚit really boggles my mind why theyâre taking that approach.

In the roadmap wasnt tripod changes in the same month as reaper along with the balance changes? They never split updates so you should expect it this month whenever they say reaper gets released

While having an in-game notice is extremely important, please also make a dedicated post on your website for those who have taken a break of the game. Imagine someone whoâs waiting for Brelshaza to come back only to realize they lost all their engravings.
This is all they really said about the Tripod changes under their November category when discussing upcoming content. It still says nothing about people potentially losing their tripods and what players should do to prepare for these changes. And that is something they absolutely should be doing.
They should know by now that there is always some kind of outcry from people due to them not being informed of xyz. This should have by now demonstrated to AGS that theyâre people who do not engage in the forums, in watching streams, twitter, etc for information. So ideally, they should at the very least provide some kind of pop up or banner in game directly to ensure their customers are informed of an upcoming change that is pretty significant.
The fact that their team has been âunableâ to do so up to this point is just disappointing and infuriating. What in the world is preventing them from doing so? Heck, they couldâve included the information in the recent announcement regarding reaper, but did not. Itâs just absolutely baffling as to why theyâre unable to provide their customers with information regarding such a significant change to gameplay.
This is never a good argument for one because they could easily simply split the content releases in the same month. This is also objectively much larger and more important than a single class release as it not only affects the reaper class but every other player. They also knew the community wanted to specifically know since way back in the summer. Even in thier most recent pieces, the roadmap which mentioned the tripod and balance changes update and the more specific reaper promotional piece there was no amplifying information on the changes to the relevant systems or the specific date.
Many people question why reaper is being marketed so heavily when your literal account could suffer significant negative consequences for not preparing properly for the tripod update if you are an existing player? Had it not been for the KR streamer community giving out this information well in advance, release day of these tripod changes would most certainly cause a significant amount of backlash because it will end up costing people tens of thousands if not hundred of thousands of gold or even a few hundred dollars in pheon costs trying to get proper tripods.
You do understand that if you do not save your existing tripods, even the ones you are wearing on your gear right now, you will no longer have them because ALL TRIPODS ON ALL GEAR IS BEING DEELTED. Now you tell me whats more important to people? Saving a lot of in game and real world money or marketing the next the next big tiddy goth gf waifu? At this point itâs almost guarantied people will feel caught off guard or not given enough time to prepare. A week in advance for an official statement on something so massive is really sad,
THANK YOU. Really. Sure, youâre still going to have some people complain about not knowing, but at least the team is taking the correct steps to ensure the information gets out to as many people as possible.

Thank you, itâs really late though. In the future Iâd highly recommend if such sweeping changes are going to be implemented you give the community heads up way in advance. A week in advance to completely change or prepare your tripods on your dedicated roster is very short time. You will most certainly see a massive uproar next week due to this.
Not just notice, not sure why itâs so hard to just copy paste what other regions have already posted?
Itâs not going to do anything for people that is already in the forums/reddit/twitch but itâs going to be helpful for a lot of the playerbase.
A banner that replacing the current Autumn one while loading the screens , with something like
"Important change next week on your tripods , for more information visit the site/forums "
And then have the links to the Youtube/Twich videos , where the streamers explained it in detail.
And why we donât have access to the website news feed from the game it self or at least I donât see one. That way those who donât look on the forums can always check it out for something new or patch notes.

Whereâs everywhere? You have to realize thereâs a large majority of the population, like in many games, where a large swath of the player base donât seek information outside the game (thatâs a whole separate subject to talk about). Itâs dumb and absurd to not have notifications in game. If people then miss it in game, then thatâs on them, but to not make an effort and also to just be so chide and nonchalant about NOT giving information to players is what is frustrating, because it will turn people off from the game if they arenât told something LOUDLY that something is happening in-game and will affect your characters greatly.
You do realize that people who donât read forums will have all their tripods deleted? And thatâs like majority of the playerbase not to mention the casual players. Also, we never got any details from AGS, nowhere did they say how tripod change will exactly happen only reason we know about it is because a lot of people keep track on whatâs going on in Korea. That was the point of this entire post. We have many casual players or players who are taking a break that will realize that all their tripods are deleted once they log in on the patch day.
