No In Game Announcement of Express Pass Change

Literally in every game you have to read the patch notes to know what’s going on. Why do people act like it’s different in this game?

Completely untrue. I played wow since WotLK and hardly ever read patch notes. I also engaged with pretty much every aspect of the game, including normal raiding and I was never once hindered by not reading patch notes. Sometimes I read them if I was interested but I never HAD to in order to understand what was going on.

Is this a joke? lol

I’ve never had to read patch notes for any other game before…

If you’re going to make fun of somebody else’s comprehension then at least put some effort into constructing a cohesive sentence. Although, I’d rather we all just treated each other with respect instead. I guess that is like searching for a unicorn on these forums though.

All of you replying to this post saying that you don’t read patch notes: You deserve everything that happens to you.

You don’t need patch notes for this or any other game, you never read them, they have to announce you in game and blablabla.

You are missing a lot of information, ignorants gotta ignore and the attitude of “I need the information to be spoonfed in game”.

Really, not the kind of player I want in group, guild or any activity, in this or any other MMO.

You got some nerve to come in here and say that you don’t need patch notes, which are BASIC nowadays for any game.

Sad.

What are people doing when we get patch notes where we need to read 10+min for all informations, how do you want this ingame. 50sites open with F5 and closing with esc.
Yes a notification with a link aren’t a bad thing, but why not self going on official platform of the game to find the information.
For guides on “unofficial” sites the people can do it

It’s not nerve. It’s my honest opinion on what makes a well managed game. You are right though; the devs don’t HAVE to announce anything. Just like the players don’t have to read anything. The only thing that this disconnect between players and the devs will effect is the health of the player base and the longevity of the game. If you’re fine with that then so be it. You do you and others will do what they are happy with. I’m honestly not bothered. I’m not so invested in this game that I’m upset if I ‘miss out’ on something that has no real life value. If this game lives or dies, it won’t affect me IRL so I guess whatever.

It’s called having a conversation but ok :woman_shrugging:
I’m going to go do something that’s actually important now, like take my son out for the day. I suggest you all try something positive today instead of being hateful towards strangers you’ve never met.

Jeah for people like u who come frome games like tetris. Mine sweeper, space invaders and snake it might be a little hard at first to get used to having to read patchnotes.

But im sure with some time and dedication u can do it!

We’ve gotten away from the fact that they were forced to put in a fix because they failed to communicate in game what the event was. And now the fix was pushed without any communication in game.

Whether or not we read patch notes is besides the point now.

Look, I don’t mean to be rude and I’m sorry in advance if I disrespect you but honestly, you don’t have any rights to ask for stuff like this, this is not how game and dev-player relationship works and you might not notice right now but you are wrong as well in your approach about the issue.

As it is right now, Devs are “too good”. Meaning they not only give the information in the patch notes, they make a post about systems that need further explanation BEFORE the patch notes, not only in these forums, they also use different social media like Twitter and Discord.

That information is shared in different webs, bot official and non-official. Discord has functions to share it to servers you might be using, my guild for instance has a bot that shares with us any relevant news and so on.

So you have the information there in many places, you just choose willingly not to read it so you can use your missinformation in your advantage, because “it’s not your fault”.

I have a feeling even if Amazon would send someone to your place to have a coffee and spoonfeed you the information, you would still ask for more.

ignore that autistic fuck

Thats… Not effective.

Sure u dont have to Read them but u miss out on so much Information.

Nerfs, changes, news are just 3 Things u dont find ingame.

I played almost every mmo in the last past 15years and it was always the Same. If you want Full Information and or news about a Patch/change. Use the World wide Web.

Maybe i was thinking in spanish grammar when i was writting in english but i think i have succesfully conveyed my message.

I have lost all my respect for those who have claimmed the super express pass wrong, got a solution in a matter of a week and kept complaining about it.
I have just non respect left to the “express guys” a term i will use to describe all those wrong claimmers that made half of the globe look like if we weren’t able to think.
After being using power passes is just natural to think what a “super express pass” do, you just have to do a 2 braincell synapse.

So not only “express guys” have made half of the globe look bad but also they have impacted negatively the players who had 6 T3 alts that aren’t able to select a free pass unless they buy a new character slot with royal crystals.

I was not affected by any of this but i do empathize more with the guys who don’t share 1 braincell and probably can think how negatively impact for a player with T3 roster would be to add an ilvl block for the pass instead of the 10 different dumb poof windows express guys seem to need.

That being said i find the term “express guy” extremely accurate to describe any person who has an unreasonable take on this game.

Now that was pretty funny

As someone who AGREES (had to make it bold so people dont attack me)
This info should be in game somewhere.

But, since it isnt. I always recommend people when they ask to videos that explain things.
I am constantly postong guides on my guilds disc in order to have people in my guild informed.

My only take on this is i dont expect it to change, although it would be nice if it did. just take all the necessary steps to make sure you are informed.

  • Personally i think they could add an information tab to explain the patches, whats new, explaining engravings etc etc.
