No localized servers? Spanish/French/German...?

Please make this possible, this would save everyone a headache before choosing server for launch.

Yea hopefully they will add this!

Yes please, we need it, cause doesn’t exist the character transfer between servers and it’s important to choose wisely.

What do you mean possible? You just have to write the list of servers on a post with a language tag. Nothing to do ingame.

Another thing is that you don’t want to do it for political / business reasons.

You know that we on the forum are making up like less than 5% of the player population right?..
It needs to be marked ingame as the big mass wont read forum or posts or whatever. They just play.

Please this is needed very much just add a language tag on some servers this would also help a lot later on with some of the issues that arise from the different languages especially in mmos. thank you.

In any case, is just a matter of changing the string of the Server name, 5 min work. The point here is not if is technically viable or not, but a business decision

Just no… do not “officially” localice Servers… The Communities did already spread the news and people should just inform themselfs… Making servers e.g. officialy “German” will lead to many people not join if they simply do not want to see “Hey will jemand ein Schnitzel?” in the World Chat ^^. I am allowed to say that since I am a German/Austrian myself.

More than likely they will offer server transfers for hefty fees in like 5 months when everyone’s ignore lists are full

I disagree.

Putting official tags on servers would be good for the community. Lost Ark is a f2p game and most people don’t read forums, reddit or follow content creators talking about unofficial server lists.
Without tags, these players will pick a server by random - or based on what name sounds cool. This means quite a few of them will end up on servers where English is not the primary language.
This can easily be avoided by providing official tags in the client. Just turn Asta into “DE Asta” most people will unterstand what it means.

Language tags on servers are insanely needed. Not everyone in EU speak English.

I disagree, putting tags will empty some servers and break others.

Any update on this @Roxx ? Its the last week before the launch! :frowning:

I am 100% French and I have no trouble writing in English and I will go on Thirain, whereas my compatriots have already chosen to go mainly on Trixion, Asta or Neria… I may be French but I don’t necessarily want to play with them because most of them by their behavior, make me feel ashamed. xD

LOL no did not work that well, well for Ger/Ita… but there were NONE for the RU people, so they went to what ever server they wanted, and i ended up on a like 70% RU server, first found out after a week of play, when every town started to have Russian Names lol.

But well, wont be any RU here, they already have their own servers

please we need language tags for a better communication and experience for everyone, we are not asking anything crazy but some help from amazon to organize communities

Agree! Useless move simply for entitled people.

Also a lot of people seem to misunderstand the request. A language tag does not mean enforcement by AGS of said language tag. It’s just there so people can get a rough understanding of what to expect

If you go to the FR server and expect to have a nice time without speaking FR you won’t. And the tag will help people make that decision
“We” don’t expect the English servers to be made up of 100% only English speaking users. They will be mostly made up of people who can ALSO speak English and are WILLING to do so. The occasional guild recruitment or random message in Swedish/Romanian/etc. or some other language won’t kill anyone.
